I predict that with 3 weeks left of the season we'll be needing 6 points from our 15 games in hand to avoid relegation. Could be a real sphincter twitching time.

Maybe more than you realise - with so many games in quick succession, people will be choosing not to bother leaving Tannadice between games and living off the catering. How's that sphincter feeling now, eh?

I think we will go feral and start eating each other before we consider risking a Tannadice pie.

It's this one again next. At least, I think it was this one.

Ach, whatever - Hamilton on Wednesday.

We should win, but will we?

Unless Hamilton have improved significantly since last weekend then I can't see anything less than a 7 goal winning margin for us.

Hurrah!

Considering we almost just beat the celtics 5-0, I think you're being a bit pessimistic.

They have looked terrible, and their super defensive approach in the last game didn't work, so they might actually attack for once. Daly being back will be a bonus for us and should make a difference.

Dull 0-0.

Hopefully Swanson gets the full game. We should win. I'm going for 2-0 United. Goodwillie and Russell to score. Crowd 5030.

Dull 0-0.
Not a very positive difference from big Jon then?

We'll trounce this mob, with Swanson running riot.
3-0. Daly, Goodie and Dillon.

I wonder whether Houstie will be brave enough to play a 442 with Swanson on from the start. That I'd like to see (not that I'll be there ).

That's my feeling too. The midfield that finished the game looked far stronger, so
I'd be tempted to start with them on Wednesday.
We dominated them in the cup, despite them having the extra man in midfield.

He'll help us defend set pieces better to get that clean sheet...

For Swanson, he still doens't seem fit, but not sure he's going to get back to fitness unless he's thrown in at some point. As long as he's not a risk from a setback if he takes a tackle, which he gets a lot of.

So you reckon he'll get fit by plying in the first team? Doesn't say much for your faith in Swanny's application, or the backroom staff.

I know he's had injury problems, so not being too harsh, but he's been unfit for most of the season for one reason or another, and whatever he's being doing doesn't seem to make him ready. Bit of match sharpness might come if he's doing it more.

You're very kind. I thought he looked fat when he came on yesterday.
