That's what we needed to get the old enthusiasm back amongst the Tangerine army. An Away win against near rivals and by more than one goal as well!! :ban:

Good win , good to see the subs make impact too. And defence still doing well no matter who plays, which us nice .

United had 2 midfielders score in the same game!! What a rare occurrence. Good win tonight, though. Need to consolidate it with a victory v the Sheep next Monday night.

So, anyone have any idea how we played or what formation we had? I have no idea how the defence might have worked based on the teamsheet. Hoping Armstrong played well despite being subbed for the match-winner.

4-5-1 with Dixon and Dillon at centre half between Watson and Douglas. Swanson and Conway on the wing either side of Robertson, Gomis and Armstrong.

Good reports from Houston about Armstrong.

Watson and Dillon at right-back, Douglas and Dixon at left-back. Their recursive overlapping of each other as they overlapped Conway and Swanson turned out to be the key to victory.

Finally, some reet proppa points on the board :banjmp:

Go to be back in the top half of the table. Defence kept a clean sheet and midfield got a couple, Aberdeen are next and we must win against them .

No doubt Aberdeen will be bringing their usual 40,000+ away support

Lol Gordon, calm down.

More like 500k+.

How many times is it now that they've claimed to had several thousand more supporters in Tannadice than their actual (un-sold out) allocation? :$
