Well if 5 goals in 5 or whatever couldn't do it, not sure what would. Will be nice for his profile, and value, will be interesting to see how he handles it.

You'd fancy him to score a goal or two against the Fareos though.

Rest of the sqaud is the same old mixed bunch:

Charlie Adam (Blackpool)
Phil Bardsley (Sunderland)
Barry Bannan (Aston Villa)
Cameron Bell (Kilmarnock)
Christophe Berra (Wolves)
Chris Burke (Cardiff City)
Gary Caldwell (Wigan Athletic)
Kris Commons (Derby County)
Graham Dorrans (West Bromwich Albion)
Darren Fletcher (Manchester United)
Matt Gilks (Blackpool)
David Goodwillie (Dundee United)
Craig Gordon (Sunderland)
Alan Hutton (Tottenham Hotspur)
Kevin Kyle (Heart of Midlothian)
Jamie Mackie (Queens Park Rangers)
James Morrison (West Bromwich Albion)
Steven Naismith (Rangers)
Steven Whittaker (Rangers)
Danny Wilson (Liverpool)

Can't argue with that - he's been the one consistently good performer for us this season. Without him we'd be in real trouble.

Same old mixed bunch is a bit harsh. Cammy Bell, Barry Bannan and Danny Wilson all in for the first time. Good to see Chris Burke back and Kevin Kyle probably deserves a shot for his performances last year.

Bad phrasing... was meaning in terms of quality. Few stand outs, few strange ones, and rest ok.

It's actually a pretty fresh looking squad, would be nice for them to get a good performance.

It's good to see Bertie giving some new faces an opportunity to stake a claim.

I recognise 11 of those names. I could've attached name to club in maybe four cases, and all but two could walk past me in the street without fear of recognition. It's great not giving a shit about Scotland. The lifting of the burden liberates you to remember other stuff, such as where you put your keys. I can't recommend antipathy highly enough.

You're right. Sorry. I've been drinking quite heavily, though that's no excuse. What word am I thinking of? Not ambivalence exactly. Um. Cheesegrater. That'll do.
