Back four poor. Dixon barely hit a target in the first half. Kenneth was caught out too often, he should not have had the armband in my opinion. Watson performed reasonably well as did Dillon although he and Kenneth did not work well together. Midfield had no cutting edge and ran through the Buddie's midfield like cotlon wool through treacle in the first half. I have not renewed my season ticket this year due to rugby coaching commitments and so looked forward to the match tonight. My conclusion is just that we are missing too many of our most influential players. It is a sticky patch that I am confident we will get through. |

Are you Watson's mum?* He was atrocious tonight. Always tentative, with distribution that reminded me of Mark Kerr having a bad one. The only starter I'd say was good was Goodroy, who really put a shift in and deserves far better. Cadamarteri had lots of touches, but they were all backwards and didn't want to take responsibility for anything in the final third. When you're a striker, that is required. Russell did Ok when he came on. Scott Robertson not bad. Gomis let the game pass him by. Buaben a little better. DRobga anonymous. Dixon - first half dreadful, second half not as dreadful. Dillon - wholly culpable for the first goal. Kenneth - not good, but the usual combination of robustly clumsy challenges and over-hit passes/blooters upfield. I heard the second goal described on the radio as a wonderful breakaway by St Mirren - bollocks. We had plenty players back by the time the cross came in, but they all got sucked towards the ball, leaving 2 or 3 unmarked St Mirreners at the back post. 3 good finishes for the goals - Buaben's free kick was a screamer. The game however made me scream. Really scream. But I've yet to be sick. *ETA - not as mad as it sounds - Garry Kenneth's mum is posting on EFF. Although after tonight, she's asked for her account to be deleted! |

Oh so you're a dirty stop-out, round at EFF now is that it? Coming back here late after you've had your fun? Not enough for you now are we? And to think.... with, with.... THAT! I could understand The Arabian, but THAT! That dirty no-good ROTTEN filthy...... I feel like no matter our league positions, or what has gone before, we always seem to lower our game to get entangled in a dirty skirmish with the Buddies. What gives? |
