McGregor, Bardsley, McManus, Weir, Whittaker, McCulloch, Fletcher, Morrison, Dorrans, Naismith, Miller

So that Zero fella who played up front on friday has been replaced by Kenny Miller

Bardsley comes in for his first cap as Hutton is out injured.

If Levien was really happy with the ultra defensive showing against the czechs I think his plan tonight will either be 451 reverting to 9-1-0 when we don't have the ball or to get the players to hide in the dressing room for 90 minutes and take a default 3-0 defeat.

Looks like a rangers team. Not sure if that's good or bad...

Probably aiming for a repeat of Rangers v Barcelona a couple of seasons ago. Similar result and performance would be good. If it's Rangers v Unirea, then...

With the home pressure to attack, can't see it working. Never know though .

I reckon a draw is of no use at all. Against the Czechs it would have been. Taking points away form your rivals for 2nd spot was essential. Taking points from Spain will mean nothing to them and wont benefit us in any manner other than just 1 point earnt. But with the Czechs having got all 3 on Firday, 1 point to us is pretty meaningless. A win for us could possibly change the mood of the group, it's what we HAVE to go for to make any sort of mark in this group now AND for the rest of the qualifying campaign.

Except if Spain finish on maximum points, what do you expect the rest to finish on? Look at our last group. One extra point would have meant second.

Well northern ireland just drew with the Faroe islands undoing there good work in the first two games ( drew with Italy and beat Slovenia) so at least we won't be the uk's laughing stock this week.

I mean could you imagine a Scotland team would ever be held to a draw by the faroes.................oh wait.

Decent performance first half, all things considered, the defence looking really suspect on runners from deep, though. Just a pity we couldn't hold out until half time, or convert one of those chances!

McGregor damn unfortunate with the (clear) penalty.

We look better when we're not sitting off them, a number of good breaks have come from getting in their faces and actually putting the boot in.

The difference in first touch, close control, movement and anticipation is pretty severe, though I suppose they are the world champs <_<

Get iwelumo on spain are great at the tippy tappy but like arsenal they will struggle with big aerial ability and route 1 like kevin davies does for bolton our nearest match to davies would be Iwelumo so get him on.

Nothing to lose now, sam allardyce tactics.

Well that was exciting for a while there up until the horrendous McManus gift :(

Excellent first goal, and excellent build-up for the o.g. Whittaker extremely unlucky to be in the book at all with two challenges a la Gomis in our previous Killie game in the lead up to our goal, clearly and fully won the ball both times.

Decent showing overall, a Levein-saver I think. Shows what we can do if we let our talented players get further up the park than their own 18-yard box.

Wasn't too bad. We didn't show elan, though. First half was chronic in terms of inability of Scotland to pass.

Possibly the worst individual defending I've seen at international level. Apart from his defending against Liechtenstein when Frick scored.
