Any predictions?

Dull 1-0 defeat seems likely for me.

What's with the Friday games anyway?

2-0 Czechs is my guess.

I hate the Friday games. Apparently it's to allow players more time to rest after international duty (as the last of the double headers come on Tuesday).

Two 2-0 defeats, including Spain at home. Can't see anything other. Only chances at home to Spain are if they've serious injury problems, it's pissing down, we get an early goal, and they get unlucky not being able to break through a parked bus.

They'd be better doing Thursday games then, as Friday games just seems odd, and leaves the whole weekend free.

Well given Levein has managed to go from massiah to a strange combination of latter day Old Man Pa' Broon (Jamie Mackie) and George Burley (Leichstinstein - tactics, team and explanation) I think we will bore everyone into submission against the Czechs, but stil lose 1-0 with Kenny Miller missing several presentable chances.

Brown's out, so that might add something to the midfield plans anyway.

Had a look at the Czech squad and they seem to be a poor shadow of the side they had a few years ago.

Goalkeepers: Petr Cech (Chelsea), Jan Lastuvka, (Dnepropetrovsk), Tomas Grigar (Teplice) Defenders: Roman Hubnik (Hertha/GER), Michal Kadlec (Leverkusen), Zdenek Pospech (Copenhagen), Daniel Pudil (Genk), Marek Suchy (Spartak Moscow), Jan Rajnoch (Ankaragucu) Midfielders: Tomas Hubschman (Shakhtar Donetsk), Mario Holek(Dnepropetrovsk), Jaroslav Plasil (Bordeaux), Tomas Rosicky (Arsenal), Jan Polak (Anderlecht), Jiri Stajner (Liberec), Milan Petrzela (Viktoria Pilsen) Forwards: Tomas Necid (CSKA Moscow), Roman Bednar (West Bromwich), Lukas Magera (Timisoara), Vaclav Kadlec (Sparta Prague).

Plasil looked a good player in the champs league last season, but I'm not going to be scared of a strikeforce featuring Roman Bednar and Cech has been poor since he started wearing that stupid hat.

Then again we did struggle to beat leichtenstein at home, so a dull 0-0.

Nice quote from Sir Craig today

I can tell you Kirk Broadfoot will go back to his club. He has a foot problem and it is safest if he isn't involved.

Has it really taken him 10 months to realise this :D .

Looking at the team lists, still seem to be a level above ours, althouht not top class.

We should fancy our chances to get something, but it'll still be a challenge.

They should be a level above Lithuania but they lost at home to them. I don't think the Czechs are as good as they were a few years ago. It will still be a tough game game though and a draw would be a very good result.
