Just watched the City v Toon game, seen quite a few this weekend.

The World Cup?

All tippie-tappie crap and few chances. No wingers like Ralphie. No flair any more.

And that's without even mentioning the Huns v Manyoo.

Find it hard to wtach a game from start to finish these days.

I wasn't watching it minute my minute, but was entertaining enough. Better than the golf anyway.

Footie (well EPL ) could be right in the poop if the landlady from portsmouth wins her case.

Sky wont keep paying millions into the premiership for tv rights if they aren't exclusive.

I hope she wins. The prices Sky charge us at home is bad enough, but the prices for pubs are outrageous. The town I live in use to have 16 out of 27 pubs showing live football. 4 year later, I now have a choice of 4 pubs to go in to watch it. There is no weatherspoons or yates' down here. There are no 'big chain' pubs. The pubs are mostly all family run, they can't afford to pay the prices Sky are demanding. The pub I usually drink in and watch the football (the landllord is a friend of mine) had to get rid of it, and it does make me feel bad when I leave to watch the football elsewhere.

Would I also be right in thinking (in my wine induced state) that if it was good enough for a Belgian footballer, it may well be good enough for a pompey barlass?

I can't see why she would win, athough plenty would want.

Loads of things are exclusive surely, it's not just football. It's the premier league that want exclusive too I guess.
