Brown out it seems, left back too. Mulgrew too unfortunately .

Not sure how our injury problems are, but they seem to have more ...

I am still feeling good about this game. Housty to bring some of the Scottish spirit back from the Spain game.

I think I might put my first bet on United this season - to win with +1 start. Depending on the odds, obviously.

I'm feeling relatively positive about this one, probably because it's been a couple of weeks since the last game. We're starting to look a bit more solid again and with Conway back and Goodie in good form we'll cause them problems. 2-1 either way, I suspect.

I'm not sure. We'll be better with players rested and fit - can hopefully get back to usual formation.

But they are playing well and seem to be at near full strength, so will be tough.

3-1 United. It's about time we had a game live on telly as well. I'll look forward to watching it today.

We deserved to lose, and losing late winners to Celtic is something we've done for as long as I can remember. I always feel robbed when we lose to that shower though.

Well, that was a disgusting experience. Mainly due to me trying to watch the game in a Glasgow pub with a major hangover. 5 minutes in I was overcome by a sheet of sweat, and I had to abandon ship to be sick behind the bins outside, then retreat home to listen to it on the radio. Much tutting ensued.

By the sounds of the radio coverage we were swamped for most of the match.

Anyone watch it who can dig out some positives? From the match, not my public puking performance.

Was the tutting directed at the spewing man behind the bins, or came from the same man directed at the radio?
It was a valiant effort to make it as far as the pub in that condition, we all know it too well, the third pint settles the mess but you have to overcome that dreaded heatwave that puckers your arsehole with the impending sense of doom

The WORLD was tutting at me. Even the seagulls who would surely be into my body temperature deposit for their lunch.

The spew was initially as cold and black as the few mouthfuls of Guinness I had just swallowed. Then it was the usual carrots and slime.

What am I like, eh?

I didn't think we were that bad, thought that we played decent at times, but were opened up too easily.

They did have 4 strikers on the park though, so were very attacking, while we didn't really offer that much up front. I'm a big Daly fan, but today he was dealt with easily and didn't contribtue much. Goodwillie was decent, lively and hard working.

Buaben was very good in the middle, good pressence and decent in possession. Gomis less so. Robertson might have been our most likely to score, few good positions as usual, but nothing. Conway didn't look sharp, and was well dealt with by their defence.

Severin was a little sloppy, but still decent. Rest of the defence average, pernis solid.

With so little width, would have been nice to have had Wilson back as he was constantly ahead of their midfield on the right, with none of our players tracking him.

Overall, they looked a very good team, we aren't quite there yet in getting back to the way we've played recently, but still no bad by any way of looking at it.

Ref wasn't good. Everytime there was a handbags, he booked both players, even if nothing wrong (sure was a coincidence that both times was the Celtic play as the aggressor). Penalty - I thought that it was at first glance, but was wrong, he seemed the same and at least he did change his mind. Time at the end seemed to be rather brief too. 5 mins that included 2 or so of injury / stoppage and he cut it short when we were attacking.

I agre, the injury time annoyed me. 90 seconds added on to the end which was to account for a gashed head, a scuffle between two players that resulted in a player walking off refused to be booked and a substitution. Then the whistle went while we were on a break. I think the ref bottled a lot and didn't want to upset the 'tic camp, especially after getting the penatly thing right in the end. Daly and Russell didn't deserve their bookings, but it made it easier to book the celtic players. And Lennon not getting more than a talking to? Seen managers been sent to the stands for less than the way he was pursuing the 4th official.

Anyhow, the were worthy of their win for all the attacking the done, Stokes on the wing ripped us apart. Our performance, I'd say gutsy. We knew we were on the back foot to begin with, but it was a hearty effort, unfortunately slack marking and loss of possession.

Loved the dressing room footage though, Houston looked to be acting like I would have expected McLean to have been.

I was pleased with the performance today in a very good game. Celtic edged it but there's no shame there. They're a very good team and we matched them for long periods. With a bit of luck we might even have sneaked a win.

The team looked a lot more like itself today, which bodes well.

Top marks for Pernis, the full backs, Prince, Goodie and, my motm, Davie Robertson. Daly was better than he has been of late as well.

More positives than negatives for me.
