It is looking more likely they might have to move away from Dens. Would you make up a bed in the spare room for them or close the curtains and pretend you aren't in if they come a knockin?

No. Let them die peacefully.

No. Let them die peacefully.

Would be nice to make some money out of them on the way out though?

I get the feeling they'd rather die peacefully than move over the road.

I'd like to vote but it's just too complex.
Playing at Tannadice would involve being tenants. Which they are anyway, given they've been given the ground rent-free by the owner, John Bennet. John Bennet the Dundee United director...
So, they'd essentially be in hock to....the man they're already in hock to? But having to pay this time. Or would they expect the gratis arrangement to continue?
See what I mean...?

Essentially, if they were homeless and looking to pay rent (ie cash, not a gift), then I say 'Yes'.
Money for nothing, innit?

edit - Good topic and poll, Yaz. Way to get the board busy! :banjmp:

We should be sharing a stadium anyway, so I say aye.

They'd find it humiliating having to move in to Tannadice, so it's a yes from me.

I say yes, but they'd be a total nightmare that we'd immediately regret having as flatmates.

It would be like inviting the alcoholic, drug addicted tramp who stinks of piss, hangs around nearby and shouts "Paedo!" at you in the street to stay at your house indefinitely.

You wouldn't be surprised if that didn't turn out well.

Also, if this did happen. Give it a few weeks and they'd be trying to sell our stadium and possible a few of our players. Wouldn't surprise me.

I think I'd say no. Can you imagine th damage they will do to the pitch?? I doubt it would cope with a professional game every week. Sorry, one professional game and the dees' kick about.

I'm sure Forfar could put them up, no?

As much as I would like United to get some extra revenue out of tannadice it would be stupid to take on a tennant with that credit history. Tannadice would just end up a churned up mess after those cloggers have played cowdenbeath on it and we would have nothing but a number in the creditor que from the KPMG administrator to show for it.

Maybe if we get leigh griffiths and gary harkins for free in exchange (they must be worth something) we could let them play the rest of the season at tannadice.

If it did happen, I doubt they'd be in debt to us, simple case of us controling the gates and the money that brings in.
