We still seem to have a few players out on loan - McCord at Airdrie again playing, and McCord at Montrose apparently won a penalty today. |

Why didn't we send Shala to Forfar. I can't undertstand why he has never been on loan. |

You only loan things that you might want back. |

Agree with that, would do him no harm. Though maybe he needs more quality coaching right now, not lower level games. |

Thats not true - maybe the hope is that Falkirk lose him and we can take something of theirs that we like to even it? |

I'm not convinved we want either of the McCords back. Shala seems just stuck in the middle, not really going to make it, but just useful enough to have hanging around just in case. Hopefully Dow makes as good an impression as Allan seemed to at Forfar. |

I think the problem is that we can't just like one of them. They look like identical twins, and distinctive ones at that. It would be too perfect to have them both in the team, yet it just seems wrong to split them up. Basically, Ryan McCord and Ross McCord are exactly like Crouch & Defoe*. * except for all the differences |

Ah. Wondered if the 'Ryan Down' that the Herald reported as scoring for Forfar was ours. Good stuff Ryan! Keep it up, there may be opportunities soon... |

Forfar, including Ryan Dow, secured a Second division play-off place thanks to Dale Hilson's 58th minute goal. The game's only goal, in the 1-0 win away to East Fife, was his third of the season. McCord Sr. played a full 90 minutes as Airdrie were crushed 4-2 at home to champions Livingston. His only contribution of note seems to have been a booking. Ho-hum.. McCord Jr., meanwhile, mirrored his brother almost exactly as he picked up a booking in Montrose's 4-1 defeat to Arbroath. A win which saw the Lichties win the third division and secure the first honour in their 133-year history. At home to they Gable-Endie bastards too! Ya beauty! |

Or maybe it was one each...I don't know. Are they still United players? They're both safe under the tutelage of Paul Hartley at Alloa, having signed one-year deals. Hilson's at Forfar. He's definitely still with us. Isn't he? Anyone else? |
