Does anyone take interest in the Dundee United ladies team? They keep popping up on Google, and so far they have a quite notable record. 14 games down, and a goal difference of -81! But at least we're ahead of Aberdeen. eg: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/women/8993581.stm P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Glasgow City 15 14 1 0 122 5 117 43 2 Celtic 15 14 1 0 87 9 78 43 3 Spartans 16 11 0 5 75 25 50 33 4 Hibernian 15 10 1 4 66 17 49 31 5 Hamilton Ac. 16 9 1 6 48 32 16 28 6 Rangers 16 7 4 5 44 33 11 25 7 Forfar Farm. 16 8 1 7 41 31 10 25 8 Inverness 16 5 2 9 28 51 -23 17 9 Boroughmuir 15 3 2 10 25 41 -16 11 10 Dundee United 14 2 0 12 12 93 -81 6 11 Aberdeen 15 1 1 13 11 83 -72 4 12 F.C. This is going to sound awful - and probably entirely expected - but it depends for me on what they look like. In other news, my mum played for Dundee Strikers and was a Scotland international. |

If she looks like the rest of the United women's team, probably not. Sorry, Micky!!

There was a match a couple weeks ago, where the United women lost 21-0! |

They remind of Dundee United men season 2000/2001. But not quite as bad. |

I have honestly no recollection of several of those players. Galloppo? Leoni? Marcora? Ramriez? Pat Onstad is, of course, a legend. The only United employee ever to win a continental competition.* *I'm guessing, obviously. Hang on, wasn't DeVos in the same Canadian team? |

Wow. And yet you get idiots on EF slagging off John Daly. Some fowk do have very short memories, as we don't have to go too far back to see what real pish looks like. I watched the England v Switzerlandwomen's international last night. Some of the Swiss players were quite attractive, although they were a bit crap at football. At the risk of sounding chauvanistic, why are all female goalkeepers so useless? |

I've just noticed that Kilmarnock have lost 149 goals in 15 games. Ouch. |

The ones that I've seen (when I say "ones", I possibly mean "one") look tiny. Far too small for the goal posts. There are a few excellent clips on youtube of women's football. I'll find them. |

The last women's World Cup was very entertaining, lots of really skillful and *shock* well drilled strategy. No idea on the goalkeepers thing though, it's not as if there aren't many tall sportswomen. |

Are they a proper United associated team? I've never seen them mentioned on the official site / newsletter / arab zone. Or if they have maybe I've just skipped it... |
