I usually end up being dumped before it starts becoming an issue.

Mmm, smart move. Manipulating their thoughts as a preemptive preemptive strike. I like it. You're good.

OK, here's a question that may or may not be related to this thread. And may push some beyond their discomfort tolerance.

So.

Ahem.

Sex Toys.

What is the protocol for sex toys that you may be in possession of that were clearly used with a prior partner? Can they be "recycled" with a new partner, or should they be discarded? Is any amount of washing going to be enough?

Good question! Suppose it depends on whether you've fully managed to get rid of all the wool.

Ahem. Erm, I suppose some people might get a kick out of knowing it was from your previous partner.

Yeah, ok, I don't have a clue, what's the protocol, peeps? Charity shop hand in? :D

I find that washing my sex toy once a day with the rest of my body is generally enough

Would you throw your own boaby away just because it had been soiled by a previous partner? I think not and I would suggest there are far more risk factors attached to a used penis than a cleaned and disinfected used vibrator/dildo. In both cases, if in doubt, simply sheath with a condom. Sorted ;)

I dumped my girlfriend in 1981. It was horrible. I was horrible. A few months later I begged her to take me back.nearly 30 years later we are still married. Sometimes relationships do work out. :hat:

I'd need to hear your girlfriend's opinion before buying it.

Haven't you already admitted to buying it?

The chances are that if your new partner thinks you've used it with a previous partner, the new partner will say "you're not using that with me, and for even suggesting it, here's a slap in the pus".

Either pretend it's new, or don't use it.

Ah, but what about leaving them lying around, and letting them find them and think it's their own idea to use them?

No way am I going to get my dungeon refitted unless I'm totally sure.

Whoaaaaaa there, pardn'r, no need to be so hasty! :o

Just tell her they're generations old family heirlooms and I'm sure she'll understand and get into the spirit of things.

Yours,
Deardrie.
