We can't win when it counts. Although having 3 goalkeepers in 3 games isn't going to help. |

That second half was brutal. The last time I saw a ball get that much mistreatment was in a Serbian gay porno. Dunno if it was a tactic or just a symptom of crapness, but the half hour spent hoofing the ball randomly upfield did no one any favours. It was as if the back line had learned about direct football by correspondence course. What's most damning is that, once we started to panic and play at 100mph, the passing *improved*. Motherwell were helped by a few dodgy decisions, but didn't need them. They were by far the better team. As for United ... I can't fault the effort but we just aren't very good at football. We deserve a year in the boondocks. |

Typing this from in the car so great excuse for my wobbly opinion. Better team 1st half. No doubt. Great strike from Henri. Skunk McDonald should ve been off. He actually reached up we his left arm to elbow Donaldson in the pus. Mibbee this compliance chunt officer will take some action, but it wont help us. Dow never fouled Gomis. He played the ball cleanly, even keeping his boots flat on the park. Poor defending for their free-kick, but Szromnick has to take some of the blame for being in no-mans-land, but a refereeing decision like that going against us in our position is deadly. The equalizer just on half-time certainly had the desired effect from Motherwell's point of view. Whatever damage it achieved resulted in us being outplayed for most of the 2nd half,. Last 5 or 10 minutes we came to life a bit but too late. Mixu got the format wrong IMO. Motherwell took full advantage of us having just 3 at the back in the 2nd half,, with all the extra space and easier passage into the box that it entails. Gutted TBH. |

Ach, we've said that before. We almost certainly are of course, and have been since before Christmas, but once this crap result fades we'll still not (quite) be done for yet. Killie and Accies both have a few tough games coming up. Having said that our general ineptness can inspire naught but conjurations of Greenock and Dunfermline. I'm not sure we're even capable of winning the five or so games we need to give us even a sniff of a ghost of a chance. Doubt it. I'd like to single out that fecker gunning tonight again too...he's been a bit better of late but his lazy gambolling back while the cross came in for Well's winner was pitiful. At least he will surely be punted once we go down. |

That was a very dispiriting experience and I really feel bad making an eleven year old boy sit through it to the end. I'm a bad dad. Also, Gunning = cunt. I hope when he finds himself on the Nat King in the summer he can't find another mug club and has to work in the sewers or equivalent unpleasant job. Cleaning old people's bums - that's what I wish for the horrible horrible cunt. Edited by Conan the Destroyer, Mar 11 2016, 11:56 PM.

Everyone's time of the month all at once? Ooft! So Motherwell got away with a couple of decisions, they happen. You can see why he thought Dows tackle may have been dangerous and I don't think McDonalds was deliberate, a yellow would have been sufficient in my eyes. Worst decision of the night was not sending off Paton, it's a clear, easy and simple red. So let off there. Motherwell outplayed us the second half, and it's no use blaming that on the goal before half time, we had everything to play for and didn't show up that half. Motherwell got a foot on the ball and worked plenty of openings and in the end deserved it. Everyone said it was over last time we lost to them though, but I'd still expect that a win next week will take us to 5 pts behind. Every game is winnable, so it's very much not over. Save of the season from our lad in the first half for me BTW, but his technique and handling is dodgy and he was at fault for the goal. Spittal for me was our poorest player. Just wasteful really. Gunning had a rubbish second half, but if we're talking about arseholes then Donaldson booting the ball away, Morris wrestling their lad and Paton swiping through Gomis win the medals there. I think we should have made changes earlier and I would have liked Fraser to come on earlier, he's actually got some football in him. While if we're not playing football then let's have more game time for Ofere. |

The end and not surprised. All we await is the grim reaper to visit CRAP. Sometimes I think Miksu is getting there, most of the times he is on the glue |

Hard to argue with much of that in the cold light of day. You're right about our indiscipline too...that reflects badly on both the squad and management. Anier could have been in trouble for another swipe out as well, to add to those you highlighted. Idiocy, no matter how frustrated they are. I don't understand Mixu's thinking on subs either. As we never got started in the second half a competent boss might have changed things on 55 rather than 75 minutes. And, finally, while we all expect Accies and Killie to lose the next two games they'll surely be aware that even one win in either game will probably kill us off, more or less. My money is on Aberdeen blowing it again. |

Fact is we are not liked by the establishment as we don't fit the profile of a competent club so we will be left to drop. Fact is clubs from the west always get preferential treatment and benefit of doubt. If macdonald had played for us and elbowed one of them he would have been off no question. |

Hmm...not sure Paton's assault resulting in yellow last night backs up your contention, Zico. We didn't get the decisions in the first half, right enough, but it's not the ref's fault we then went on to play so pish. The SFA can't be blamed for us dropping so many points from winning positions. |

Don't talk pish. No one hates United, apart from United fans. McDonald's elbow looked intentional on TV replays but is the kind of thing that happens accidentally ten times in every game, so no blame on the officials not spotting it. Dow's challenge for their equaliser wasn't much of a foul but it was a game packed with 50-50 challenges, the decisions on which went for us as often as against us. And as already noted, Paton was very lucky to stay on the park. Ditto Morris. Ditto Anier. If anything, the ref did us a favour. |

Only if being very optimistic.None of the teams above look like collapsing. We've won 2 of last 5 games, Kilie won 1 drawn 2 of last 5. We need to do so much better and they need to do worse for it to be enough to keep us up. |
