There must be less speed cameras at least. Driving from Edinburgh to Dundee, nada, then Dundee to Aberdeen there are about 20! Bizarre…. :fisted:

Aye, the days of making it from the final Dundee roundabout to the first roundabout in Aberdeen in 45 minutes are long since gone.
They're circles. Tut.

Circles? I'm sure we've been through this before, but not many people I know call them that. Is that a Fife thing?? :conf:

I'm from St. Mark's, and they've always been circles to me.

Isn't Hampden closer to Tannadice than Pittodrie?
No.
Well. they're both approx 80 miles. No need to be quite so curt just because I'm always cheeky to you. It's done out of love y'know.
I always knew that :hat:

I'll give you Fife thing!

Ask a Dundonian for directions that involve any roundabouts and you'll hear them referred to as circles.
Or big circles in the case of The Scott Fyffe circle, for example.

The reason is that the Fife Circle is a railway track

Definitions Lochee style: Roundabout is something you find in bairns play parks, where danger and thrills are derived in equal measure.

A circle is something in the road that you try to take at 40-50 mph whilst on yer driving test, scareing the Arse off the examiner, who's facial expression shows terror beyond belief...Are you for real he said?? This was on the old Claypotts Circle btw.

It's amazing I ever passed..

That Claypotts Junction is a travesty.

Anyhoo... Hubs it is. Saturday, 16th April at 12:15pm.
Anyone going?

I'll go, from habit really.

Here's a fun stat : since I was born (45 years ago now, so no insignificant sample size) Dundee Utd have lost more cup finals (Scottish and League Cup) than Rangers. United have been second best 13 times, Rangers only 11.

In the same period Rangers have won 35 finals to United's 4. Makes ye hink, eh?

Hibs are almost as bad by the way, ten times runners up since 1970. Makes our semi final a bit of an irrelevance, I'd suggest.

In Fife they're roundabouts. Just a few short miles but a linguistic world away.

Also, not vowels need have the same sound. Eh dinna ken.

Getting to the final is good for the United P&L!

Is there a trophy for the best P&L in the SPFL? Come on Stevie T - get it done!
