If Inverness win their replay, there should be a campaign to get the semi at Pittodrie.

Nah, there's no way they'll play a semi between two Glasgow teams in Aberdeen.

Wait?

There's another semi final? :o

Ah well, the dream of a Hibs triple-header in four days dies.

However, our players will be spared the nerve tingling distraction of oppressive media interest in our semi.

Thanks The Celtics and Ibrox Club!

Do BBC get a semi-final to show? Which I presume will be ours?

Isn't Hampden closer to Tannadice than Pittodrie?

God. Six weeks.
Six fucking weeks of wall-to-wall, hate-fest build-up.

I'm off to start the Motherwell thread...

Well. they're both approx 80 miles. No need to be quite so curt just because I'm always cheeky to you. It's done out of love y'know.

Ok, 66 to Pittodrie, 85 to Hampden.

They've clearly moved Pittodrie.

I'll rephrase - isn't Hampden much closer to my house? Yes, it is - much.

Ibrox is much easier for me to get to. Although Firhill would be better, and probably big enough if it's ICT.

It's a better road to Glasgow, isn't it? I assume it is, but I confess I've not been on the Dundee Aberdeen Road for 20 years, and wasn't paying any attention even then. Could be a 5 lane megahighway for all I know now. But given the M8 is a begrudging, clogged 2 lanes I f*cking doubt it.

And another thing, how the f*ck can it be cheaper to drive, by yourself, pretty much anywhere, than get the bus or train? We are being robbed.

The best reason to move it away from Hampden is because it's Hampden. I'd accept any excuse to avoid that soul-sucking shithole. It won't be moved, though, because Sir David Murray still has dibs on 10% of ticket revenue for every game after selling the SFA a load of substandard girders.

(This isn't true, but it might be.)

There must be less speed cameras at least. Driving from Edinburgh to Dundee, nada, then Dundee to Aberdeen there are about 20! Bizarre…. :fisted:

Thank christ for Sat Navs…

ETA: Sorry, I went a bit Jeremy Clarkson there…. :-/

Aye, the days of making it from the final Dundee roundabout to the first roundabout in Aberdeen in 45 minutes are long since gone.

You've clearly forgotten about the ASCs on the M90 approach to the FRB
