A midweek match under the floodlights against Aberdeen at Tannadice. These are the matches that still make my heart flutter at the excitement of it all. I'm not sure a failure to win signals the certain relegation that previous failures to win have assuredly done, but a win would sure improve the odds of us being doomed later in the season to keep it interesting. A win against Aberdeen might just put a bit of panic in the teams above us, too. 1-3 tham. Dillon (og), Flood, Robson for them. Late clerical error consolation for us. |

Does Robson even still exist? I'd have taken a draw before the weekend's results but now I'm feeling greedy. Hayes and Rooney still out, so as good a time as any. Hopefully the Dandies will be feeling a bit fragile from bottling it (again) after The Celtics dropped points. |

Miseries 5-0 reminiscent of games in the 1990s to us of course. |

I like your strategy, theDean. Very selfless. Keep it up and we've got a chance. |

As long as we don't fall further behind and undo the good work at the weekend. I think even a draw would be decent, even though Aberdeen seem a bit wobbly. |

A win for Ross County at Killie 24 hours before our game would certainly make things interesting .... |

Presuming Kilmarnock don't win the night before (although Ross County seemed to have nipped off for a long lunch prior to the Cup Final), then the game is almost a free hit as we will still have the game in hand on Kilmarnock. So, if we're still 8 points adrift, a loss is not terminal, and I would be pretty happy with a draw. For all the sheep are a wee bit hit and miss right now, and we've won a couple of games, they are a better team than us, and our defence is still a bomb scare waiting to be phoned into the police. |

I think the RossCo result on Tuesday might be the very most important result between two other teams for us this season. If Killie win, we go into the match on Wednesday needing to beat a team much better than us just to avoid dropping even further behind and undoing most of the points progress over the last while. For a team that seems to have struggled with finding grit within themselves, I worry that might be enough to dispirit the whole squad into surrender. If Killie don't win, we have a chance to reel them in some more and we go into the Dons match in sn optimistic mode. For our depressive looking team, this little bit of hope might be required to get a decent performance out of them. |

Indeed. Even a draw tomorrow evening puts more pressure on Killie, but a win would be splendid. From 13 behind last weekend and all but down and out... |
