Yes, the grudging enjoyment is tangible from some posters. It's almost as if they resent being proven wrong....
And yes, at least TheDean's constant.

Regarding the four more wins than the others scenario, it's not looking that scary, in theory.
We have to play them all again twice, assuming they all finish in the bottom six, as well as them all having to play each other.
They also all have to play the Celtics again on weekends where we play, variously, Ross County, Dundee and ICT.

Personally, I'm with the Captain.

I've always felt if there was one thing that could help us (as ultimately we still have to win 4 games more than everyone else etc) is the fact that the other bottom dwellers, Hamilton, Motherwell, Thistle and Kilmarnock will all expect is to put a run together and when we do they will start to worry. Enough that it affects their game? Possibly.

Yesterday was a start, but if next week we could get the gap down to single digits, then all of a sudden those teams start to worry we're coming after them.

And unlike even last season, I think its been a few years since the bottom half of the league has been so uniformly awful. Not just a couple of bad teams, but rank rotten right through. If we could put another couple of wins and even a draw in there, well you never know.

11 long hours of soul searching for you tomorrow, Calico. From the moment you wake up you'll be in a bad headspace of regret. By all means make yourself some breakfast (porridge for energy) then into the bathroom. 11.30-10.30 may seem like a long shift, but when you're standing there looking into that mirror preying for the Sportscene intro music to put you out of your misery.....don't even think about putting your hands n the sink to prop yourself up. I just want you to stand there.
It'll take far more hours in the bathroom than that to make me look any better Mulee. I agree with the general sentiment that the bottom 6 and a few others further up are pretty crap- the fact that they're all so far ahead of us at this stage and we let them do so before waking up is what rankles. What happens next week will be interesting from a managerial style point of view. E.g. Will Mixu change a winning formula and bring Dixon back?
Maybe Mixu will put the "they're gone" from the Sportsound Sheep fan presenter on the dressing room door every game.
But that Killie corner showed that defensively we are still far too brittle to make a recovery in time.
