Surely we can't change a winning team...?

Well we probably will, and hard to see us holding out and not conceding in this one.

Could do with a win to strengthen our claim for 4th, going to be tough to hold that unless we can pick up points here and there.

We have no chance.

I think we've got a great chance Zeek, ..........OF LOSING 5-0

but alternatively if we can disrupt the midfield give and go like we did in the semi final then a fair chance of at least an honourable draw. Interesting to see if the centre back pairing stay together and or whether we will play 3ish 5-2 again with Bilate sitting just in front of Nads

And as for those post split fixtures not coming out......is there nothing that Dungcaster can't feck up?

I think United have a fair chance of getting something...if this season has told us anything it's that Aberdeen don't do well when the pressure is on. Now that they are in sight of Celtic again it's why McInnes is doing his level best to transmit the message that they have no chance.

Pressure will be even more heaped upon them because it's the only league game on the day and because it's a game that with our current form they'll be expected to win very comfortably.

Didn't some members on this forum say we had no chance for the first game of the season up there when won 3-0???

Saying that, 2-0 Aberdeen for this weekends game.

Only the usual reverse indicators.

Don't really care, to be honest, providing we don't play overly defensive. It won't be the end of the world if we have a go and they still beat us on account of having better players. Unchanged team would do, though personally I'd favour Erskine to drop out and Bilate to come in.

Incidentally, I'm opening the campaign to ban all references to these ridiculous four- and five-digit formations. At this level, they're a false-precision form of football quackery. Nothing we do on Saturday can't be summed up by the commonly accepted algorithms of 4-4-2, 4-3-3 or 4-5-1.

............ Cierzniak
McGowan Souttar Morris Dixon
Connolly Paton Telfer Spittal
........... Ciftci Bilate

Erskine second top scorer so surely has to start.

This kind of argument ignores the fact that I don't like him.

He's also one of the few players in the team I'd say would score. Ciftci aside, we're not full of others who are likely to get a goal. Leaving it all to Ciftci seems to get him more and more fustrated and selfish.

You can't make him redundant just because you don't like him can you?

Or can you? Distant cousin might be in just such a predicament.

Seems like Dow is going to be out for the remaining games, which is a bit of a miss, we're needing a little extra in the middle at the moment.

No. I'd have to argue that his average performance is worse than those offered by other staff or cite some other relative inadequacy, such as his aptitude, qualifications, disciplinary record or attendance. I couldn't make him redundant solely because of, for example, his face.

Good luck to your distant cousin. If he wants to fritter away some of his redundo payout on high-risk bets, shorting Aberdeen at 1.26 in the "draw=void" market looks okay value.

Well I guess it was only a matter of time before we tried a 3 at the back...

After keeping first clean sheet in an eternity, why the need to try a whole new system?
