Just play like they did in the first game of the series, and we'll be fine.

Even if we get beaten 5-0, I think right now all most fans want to see if a good amount of effort and the attempt to pass the ball.

Nothing to play for, so it's all about next season, and giving the players who should be stepping up a chance to show they're ready to go.

Brewster-at-Falkirk-esque. I like it.

Let's put young Souttar in there. What's the worst that can happen? 6-0? It'll be 6-0 anyway.

Yup, probably time to give Souttar a go on the basis of how much worse could it get?

Which players have come out of the games against the Celtics with any credit?

I thought McGowan looked decent in weird position. Liked his attitude in handling the ref and interactions with the opposition players. Then he got sent off when all was lost. Which is the best time to get sent off. Captain material.

That game gave debuts to Euan McLean, Gregg Burnett and David Goodwillie. Those three players went on to score an average of 9.6 goals in 40-odd appearances and were sold for an average transfer value of £666,666. This makes the strategy a qualified success. Brewster was a visionary, of sorts.

ETA: seems Lee Wilkie and Grant Smith also made their debuts. Adjust those averages accordingly.

I meant even younger Souttar, the one that's still at school.

Ok, fair enough. Revised back four of Spark, Souttar, Souttar and Balantyne. (I've no idea if Cameron Balantyne is any use. Picking him solely because he looks so cheery.)

Looks like Morris and Dillon are both out. Thankfully Dixon is back. So I presume:

McGowan - Souttar - Fojut - Dixon

Souttar has a good chance to make a claim for a place. He's got to grab it with a good performance.

That's an interesting looking team. Perhaps we might get something from this. Or perhaps I need to stop smoking crack.

ETA: checked their team and now feel the need to switch to crystal meth. Gordon; Ambrose, Denayer, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Mackay-Steven, Johansen, Armstrong; Guidetti

We gonna get bummed.

In good news, we are passing better.

Still can't defend though.
