There's always the next game against Celtic to look forward to. At Parkhead. Featuring GMS and SuperStu.

Who's going?!
If we don't turn up, it's an automatic 3-0 them isn't it? I'd take that. I'd bite the hand off that. I'd hire an open-top bus for that, and would personally pay whatever shitty fucking fine the SPL levies.

Seriously. There are good reasons to get the next game cancelled on humanitarian grounds. I've seen bukkake that promises a more dignified conclusion.

Does anyone still think that taking 2 million for the two players has been worth it? Remember the.money was to be used for paying off the soft loans so the club doesnt have it to spend. A brilliant piece of business? Discuss. Oh and we are still posting an operating loss if people bother to look at the accounts so we are still not cutting our cloth.

Yup, after selling ~£10m of players since 2011, we're down to out last £1m of "soft debt", whatever the f*ck that means.

Gussie Park's looking good now though. I'd been worried about Gussie Park.

Since I was going to be over that way anyway, I thought I may aswell go.

It can't get any worse can it?
If anyone is going they are some kind of masochist
Or they are mad.

When the team shows some proper fight and belief then we will start getting somewhere.

I know they have more.money and better players but that doesnt make them unbeatable they were there for the taking.

MacNamara it seems cant raise them for the game, nor does he change tactics when its going pear shaped. I remember mclean substituting players if a gameplan wasnt working after 10 minutes and formations to combat opposition threats. I havent seen jackie do that. His indecisiveness at the cup final cost us any faint hope we had.

Ive supported united for over 40 years and this is the worst team for caving in.

You obviously took a break from supporting United between 1999 and 2004 if you think this time is the worst for caving in.

If the players feel half as disillusioned as I do then it's no wonder we got pumped 4-0.

My only question is whether the scoreline losing margin between Celtic and us is growing in absolute or exponential leaps.

6 or 8 on Saturday? Place your bets.

It could be the lazy caterer's sequence, suggesting they'll score 7. Needless to say, any sequence I can cite for our scoreline involves binary.

Drawing the first game was the killer, wasn't it? Two defeats would've been as expected. There would've been the usual dodgy decisions and individual errors to blame as we mentally prepared for the worst at Parkhead. Instead, because of that draw, we've had two trips to Glasgow to bludgeon all fight out of the team and all hope out of the fans. It feels like running a marathon on bloody stumps where the opposition is a rich man on a motorbike who gets to kick you in the face, and we're only now reaching the 17 mile mark, and it used to be your motorbike, and also the finish line's just a big trench filled with the rich man's actual shit.

Still. Next season, eh?

Yes and no. As said before, the biggest hit has been the morale one from the sales, but let's not kid ourselves that we'd have won either the final or the quarter final if we'd still had all of the four guys we've sold since last season. We haven't beaten Celtic in Glasgow for 20 years, and that includes some times when we've been on good form with better players than the ones we have now. Lest we forget we lost 6-1 there at the start of the season, with GMS missing a sitter in the first minute. And we were unbeaten at that point.

Pointing the finger at the chairman for our recent losses is against logic given that.

Looking at the Goals, they're all pretty cheap, with a real lack of organisation, especially last two.

Doex anyone know what the difference is to the Club in cash terms between winning the League Cup and being runners up?

In what sense is McGowan's red-card tackle even a foul?

Guidetti seemed pretty enraged by it. From the Sky angle, hard to say, but the ball and player were there to be engulfed in a large tackle. The ball emerged in a funny place, so maybe McGowan missed the ball?

From the Stokes red card, isn't there scope to have him cited for another elbow at my man McGowan once he had been sent off? With all those suspensions, he might hardly be back in the team for our final match with them.

Guidetti was also enraged a few days earlier that someone else wanted to take a penalty. There's a body of evidence to suggest Guidetti might just be a cunt.

Aside from the ball's funny exit angle, that looks like a straightforward tackle. Henderson didn't look hurt either. Odd.

Definite Dean Windassery in the Stokes sending off, though without the repeated prompts of BBC studio pundits I'll be amazed if the Compliance Officer noticed.

The way McGowan is claiming a bye kick does not suggest he got much on the ball. I'm struggling to see contact with ball or Henderson there. But it was a bit of a two-footed lunge which seems to result in a red card whether an opposition player suffers from it or not.
