Well given his foot is in the air, what else is he going to push himself up against other than a person?
Two points:

1. It's not a person, it's Scott Brown.
2. There's pushing someone away with the sole of your boot, then there's aiming a kick at their head. If the panel is unclear on this difference, I'd be willing to stage a demonstration on Scott Brown.
3. I really hate Scott Brown.

Three points.

Either way, whether it's a push away in the face, or a kick in the face, you can't do either, so he'll get done for it.
Whether it's deliberate or not, no-one but him knows, so he'll get done for it.

Of course I might be wrong, the SFA is usually either random or bizarre when it comes to these things.

Another Thursday, another trip to Hampden....

From DUFC...

Nadir will appear at Hampden to put his case on Thursday and the Club will fully support him in this appeal

Ciftci's last trip to Hampden established that there's a "not proven" verdict available. And it seems to me that intent is a lot more difficult to prove for the kick-push than for the previous incident (where Ciftci appeared to have changed direction specifically to elbow someone in the back of the head while the ball was 30 yards away).

All of this assumes the decisions aren't made by a finite number of monkeys with typewriters, of course, which is a wrong assumption.

It's boorish to appeal but it's all about not sitting back and accepting all the mouthing off Celtic have been doing through some of their worst mouthpieces. They're running scared and Utd can sense it. Appeal the baws oot it.

I'm hoping he'll go for the neuro- muscle spasm defence of having his LR5 vertebrae temporarily depressed by the gravitational force of his hitting the ground from the height that Scotty Broon's two footed jumping "breenge" launched him into.

It would slightly help if mulee was his defence lawyer though.
