One up on a dodgy penalty and Scott Brown's been kicked in the head. This really couldn't be going any better.

Superb, another game against Celtic in March just what we were all hoping for.

Look like Rado is over his bad spell, hopefully we can get the red cards overturned on appeal and Brown banned using tv evidence (shifty will get banned to but he is always banned anyway). We need to get Souttar to practice his free kicks for next week though.

The only thing that would have been better would have been to see Scott Brown sent off instead of the big dutch dick, and to see Leigh Griffiths getting kicked in the head but you cant have it all.

We need to get Souttar to practice his free kicks for next week though.
He'll need to go back to basics and learn how to kick a ball, the same as teaching a baby.
That ref's future in the top flight is untenable. He already had a reputation as the new Mike McCurry before this game, he needs to have a long hard look at himself in the mirror tonight and decide if refereeing is for him.
Very relieved to hold out, a decent defensive display, a first for 2015. Maybe a makeshift backline is the way forward. The celts are no great shakes. I embrace the next game with tepid glee.

Celtic aren't up to much without their two best players are they?

Well that was fun. I didn't see any of red cards, but the penalty looked a like it should have been given. The tempo and intensity was good from the start, and after the red cards didn't let up which was good to see.

Celtic did seem to miss two players able to break us down. Stokes and Forrest didn't really manage. They didn't mange to play at the tempo they did against us earlier in the season either.

Was glad to see the team start well. I was a bit worried with the team selection, and three holding midfielder. But Butcher was playing further up, pressing Brown / Biton, which was just what we needed.

Clearly we're going to miss Ciftci next week, he worked hard playing out wider than normal and was a good threat. The ability to hold the ball for even a few seconds was what we needed. Biliate needs to step in next week, he's got a good chance.

Dow was in and out, although he seemed to get injured later on, he wasn't offer a huge amount at times, a bit off the pace.

Connolly did well at times, but was easily disposseded a lot.

Butcher was probably the best player in the middle, worked hard constantly, tried to win and ball and then use it well, which was badly missing from a lot of our play from other players. Easily the most effective player.

Defence was ok also, didn't give away too much and there was plenty of blocks and tackles when needed. Not sure who lost Griffths for the goal.

Rado put in as good a display as he probably ever has for us. Looked like nothing was going to get past him, and he was condifent in the air. Anyone who thinks we won't miss him needs to look at this game.

As i didn't see any of the red cards, hard to know how they were, but once more it seemed like Brown had immunity from prosecution. Ref never seemed in control. He stopped a good celtic break to book ciftci, and I'm sure both sides are not going to be happy with him.

Overall, a good confidence booster for us for next week, we just need to decide who to get sent off.

Gutted we never won the day. Smeltic are no that great without the Communards.

Penalties
Aiden Man was 1st blocked by thd Bite-on his arse, and then pushed over by Stocks So penalty.

Dixon turned to his right and raised his right arm/elbow so that was a penalty.

Barmy
Looked like Scott Balloon did a 2-footed dangerous challenge on Shifty,. Then dirty dick comes jumping on Butch, who maybe kicked him in the nuts. Dirty dick deserved the red, but phuck knows what Paton did wrong, I actually thought he tried to split up the barmy? By this time I had my eyes on Son of Paddy, who'd picked up the ball well up the right wing, and was hoping he was on his way - then Crooked Thomson stops play because it started to kick-off. Question is, how the phuck did he no blow on the first foul. Totally inept.

MOTM for me were Dillon and Rado. His saves saved us, including Leiky Greyfart's penalty.

Paranoia, bleating, spurious whataboutery, billious hypocrisy and selective vision: Ronnie has adapted to the Scottish game very quickly, hasn't he?

Overall, that was okay. Of the three games, it was the one we least wanted to draw. But the feeling remains that it was a fair result, given the circumstances, against a Celtic side that was totally lacking invention. If they remain that bad when playing in Glasgow, we'll have a chance.

Were I the ref I'd have sent off Brown for the tackle and for looking like a shark, Van Dijk and Butcher for the kicking on the ground and Ciftci for kicking Brown in the head, although morally that shouldn't be illegal.

Pretty sure Connolly dived for the penalty, but what a rearguard action after Dixon went off. Feel a bit for him, not at all convinced it was deliberate hand ball but referees always get that wrong so at least it's consistent.

Seems we've come out of our post transfer window huff, which can only be good.

I see on the BBC report it says players will be suspended for the cup final next week. I'd presumed it would have been the next scottish cup games.

I guess that mean's Dixon is going to miss out?

Also, he's wrong because Brian Graham was retrospectively banned for diving.

Obviously Rado was superb and made several outstanding saves, but what he also did that was important was coming out and taking crosses with authority, it made such a difference.

I thought Cifci was excellent and really worked hard but I also thought Rankin was superb as well - back to last season's level I thought.

Overall McNamara gets a lot of credit - we looked like we had a plan - at last! I can't mind who said this on the forums, but we are probably better suited right now to playing a better team than breaking down someone we should beat.

Anyways, its good to feel enthused about United again.

I thought Deila showed a real lack of class after the game.

That's unfair. Just because he's a cunt.
