We've got a couple of postponed games vs Inverness & Aberdeen to fit in. Wouldn't mind* if they happened later in the month or April, as The Celtics have Aberdeen and St Johnstone between our last game and playing them for the first time. *would f*cking love it Edited by vvhatsthatonyourback, Feb 9 2015, 04:45 PM.

I see Celtic have St Johnstone the Wednesday before our Scottish cup game, so they could be a bit bruised after that. And with them still in Europe, they'll be playing 2 games a week every week for the next 3 weeks. That should test their squad and fitness quite a bit. |

With Shifty banned for the LC Final, he should be sent out at Tannadice to break as many legs as possible. |

Agree that if we're going to beat Celtic in the Cup the best chance we have of doing so is at Tannadice, and I can't see anybody else left in the draw beating them. So feck it, bring them on. |

Super caley could go ballistic again. The draw makes Europa league places interesting as unless we get ICT v celtic/united in the final then we are going to have a lower league team taking a Europa league spot. |

I don't think that's quite right. I think a lower team would have to win it to qualify, unless Celtic (assuming they're the team for the so-called Champions League) win it. I think if either ICT or us win it we'd take the cup spot, but the next Europa place goes to the league placing (assuming either of us makes an auto spot of course).* Here you go. Certainly a great opportunity for a lower league team to get to the final though, no question. Even Hibs must think they're in with a chance this year. *Of course, ideally, a lower league team would be qualifying by losing the final to United... |

... suggesting, unless there's a cynical/tactical appeal lodged at the right moment, Ciftci will be out of this game too. Dick. |

I thought that Shifty was booked at the time and as such no further action could be taken. |

Maybe the booking was for something separate? Like he was booked for arguing, and this charge is for elbowing or looking mean or something else. Either way, presume we'll appeal if it means we'll have him for the celtic scottish cup game. Maybe we could offer Paton takes the ban instead for the 3 celtic games? |

Wasn't he booked for it on the night? If he was (and it certainly looked like it, unless it was his usual dissent), is he getting both booked and sent off for it, or does he get the original yellow rescinded? I thought you couldn't be cited for something the officials already saw and took action over? Either way, he'll likely miss much of the remainder of the season with his points total. I have no idea what the rules are but, after re-watching Arabzone's highlights several times now, and having come to one conclusion initially I now admit I haven't a clue what was going on!

One camera angle (at 5:08) makes it look rather like an assault. No idea about the double-jeopardy rule, but I'd not like him to get away with that on a technicality. If there's evidence that he didn't deliberately elbow someone in the back of the head, let's see it. Otherwise, let's not compound individual dickishness with collective dickitude. |

Both players Yellow Carded for this at the time by the officials. 2 x Yellow for Warren = Red. United have rejected it. Shifty's up next Thursday for it, so either way, likely he'll miss the QF. Corruption rife in the SFA. Great attempt by them to hand the LC and SC to Celtic.. |

Steady. If it looks like he elbowed someone in the back of the head that's hardly the SFA's fault. Should they have ignored it because we need him for important games coming up? |

There was no yellow for Warren...that was a straight red. It may well be that the ref booked Ciftci for the aftermath of that situation which the assistant intervened in. Either way, he should have been red carded for it and can have no complaints. And this, Nadir, is why four of your team-mates have moved to bigger clubs and you're still in Dundee. |
