It reminds me of this brilliant anecdote from Luis Alberto.

Sky Sports is free this Saturday, although in this link our wee game doesn't merit a mention.

Innaresting, though not so useful in the world of council telly.... though may be tempted to check out their online on demand thingy for selected CL games this season.

This bit caught my attention as well:

The Premier League has revealed to the BBC it is working with Twitter to clamp down on gifs and Vine videos of goals and other highlights, which it considers to be copyright infringement.
That sounds pretty scary, wonder what draconian punishment people will face?

It's not clear what action the League intends to take against fans, but it presumably means removing such videos from social media.

Ya dancer!!!

The ball and chain cancelled it when I was away with work one week. Some shite about not being able to afford it with two bairns and her on maternity leave...

Oh, Micky. Once you've three anklebiters around, your chance of getting an uninterupted 90 minutes in front of the telly will fall to zero. I'm siding with your Doris on this one. Enjoy The Fun Factory, every weekend, for the rest of your eternity.

Since I'm here ...

[Boring betting post]

Buying United win at 8.0.
Buying Ciftci as first scorer at 16.5.
Buying Fojut at first scorer at 70.
Buying the penalty spread at 3.95.

All mental lottery bets, no insurance. But, fuck it, it's only money I'd be frittering away in places without soft play areas and menus you can colour in with free crayons.

That thug Ambrose drafted in at right back after a warm-up injury to the guy they signed from Cardiff. Good news for GMS, though perhaps not for GMS's ankles.

Am I talking to myself here? Probably.

Losing a cheap early goal at a set piece probably the worst thing we could do. Especially as we should have scored right before it.

Well, Paton and Rankin are being overrun. Townsend looks out of his depth and Watson's never comfortable. We've gift wrapped three goals as a result, rather than conceding on the half-dozen or so chances they've created through good play. That's irritating, as they don't look all that clever organisationally at the back. Oh well. Move on. We don't need to play them every week.

Despite their goals, we've only conceded from set pieces or bad mistakes. From open play, we've been a bit out played, but could have in far better position, especially as GMS could have had 2.

With Armstrong who was creating most of our chances off, think will be a long second half, hopefully they've one eye on Europe.

That's charitable, Set. I'd suggest we're getting our asses kicked. The fact that we've punched ourselves in the face three times and didn't connect with a couple of parries doesn't change the fact that our asses are being kicked.

Been surprised by Celtic. Deila has them sitting very high up the pitch. They're going to lose a few counter I attacking goals this year, but seem unlikely to lose many games as a result.

There's been whole periods in the 1st half where we don't even look as having been on the park. The time they're getting on the ball is phuckin ridiculous. Far to much room as well. Celtic players with the ball in their own half, managing to get the ball down to our box without even the hint of a challenge.

We're no keeping possession. Everytime Rado plays the ball out, whether goal-kick, drop-kick, they phuckin get it.

Townsend should've booted clear. Paton taking far too much time, and too much tippy-tappiness to give the goal way.

The central problem, I reckon, is that the Celtics players are better than ours at footballing.

Without being overly 'entitled fan', I turned off at 5-0 but almost did at 3-0.

I've been following United too long to take 2 wins prior to a trip to Celtic Park as some kind of guarantee we're suddenly going to compete there, but they've embarrassed themselves today.

Once again Ciftci the only one who looks like he thought we had a chance.
