An early trip to Celtic Park for us, where as usual one of us is already top of the table and the other fears a gap already opening up that will never be closed over the season.

Could this be our first win at theirs since The Days Of Big Dunc?

After our start, I considered nipping up the M74 for this one.
Upon broaching it with Mrs reekie I was reminded that I'll be in Edinburgh with her, watching a trilogy of plays over one day...
They better be good.

I'd like to say an away win but it doesn't do to be too greedy.
I'll be happy enough with a point to maintain our unbeaten start, as well as remaining top of the pile.

2-2. With a draw snatched from the jaws of victory.
Stokes. Armstrong. Çiftçi. Commons (pen).

Isn't it about time we had a kick in the nuts? Attendances are healthy, performances look promising, finances are stable, we're paying actual money for players and have been raising multi-millions by selling kids to teams other than The Glasgows. This can't be allowed to continue. I imagine in a bunker below Hampden someone's shouting about Telfer, Gauld and Fojut in the manner of that Hitler Downfall video. We should expect some kind of retribution.

4-1 Celtic. At least one dodgy penalty to them, at least two sendings off for us. Several collisions between boot and face deemed accidental. Any number of goals chopped off. Etc.

Is this farrago going to be on the telly?

Think it's on Sky.

I think it'll be a tough game to get a result, while the defence has done well, this will be a bigger test in terms of pace and movement, which will be a different threat than motherwell.

Hopefully we'll keep things tight, rather than risk a demoralising heavy defeat, so maybe 2-0 Celtic.

Imagine will be the same team again.

Yup. Sky Sports/your streaming site of choice at 12.45pm

The first derby of the season, at Dens, is our next live game.
Sunday, 21st September at 12.15pm.
Also on Sky Sports.

At least one dodgy penalty to them
Judging by the award last night, that's a likely event...

edit - I see the ref last night was John Beaton.
The same man who couldn't dismiss Danny Handling quickly enough in the The Rangers v Hibs cup game.
Conspiracy? What conspiracy?

Oh, don't be daft. There's no chance whatsoever of him getting into any kind of masonic establishment conspiracies given his other job was ... um ... Communications Officer at Strathclyde Police.

Eta: just watched the clip. Oof. What a stinker. Why on earth wouldn't he check with the linesman first?

That's almost as bad as Boyd and his fall over grass at Tannadice.

Presumably the red card will be rescinded. Pity the Tic player can't be sent off retrospectively and the game awarded 3-0 to St Johnstone.

The ref should be consigned to wherever Mike McCurry is these days. Soon to be joined by Bobby Madden.

It's like someone reciting the Wee Red Book.

Fergie's Wee Red Book

Can't get the BB Code to work with my Windows 8 thing. Anyway, you have to read the whole thing three times before you realise there aren't any pearls of wisdom in there about beating Celtic. They just went out and did it.

For me, one read was sufficient.

"We beat Celtic 2-1, then we beat Kilmarnock 2-0. I had fish for ma tea the next Friday and then the next day we played St Mirren in the cup and we won 3-0. Then we played Dundee away and drew 2-2 but it was okay because then we beat Morton 4-1 and I watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind at the pictures with the wife after the game. Then we got some chips and then the bus home."

Greatest Manager Ever everyone.
