Robie was the best player on the Park. Midge - good to see him get a game. IMO you could see he was a regular SP player. Oyenuga - great team player, passing etc. but dont know about the finishing. Why was he listed as "Trialist" on the teamsheet? Souttar - 2nd goal was partly his fault - should have cleared when he had the chance. Moore - great for the laddie after what he's been thru. Connolly - minds ye a lot like Ryanaldo Rado - wish he'd catch the ball sometimes instead of punching Was it a Penalty. Yes from where I was standing. Hilly - wish we'd kept him. Always rated him. Game - was no a bad game. Neither brilliant nor poor. Part of the reason was all the time we spent passing the ball along the back. Did anybody else notice that? We were the better team 1st half. Forfar were the better team for most of the 2nd half until the last 15 mins when we played like we wanted to equalise. |

In some ways I'm glad to see us still trying to do that, we played our best football last season during the period when we were confident and a bit braver in possession. And opposition didn't close us down all the time. We still need a bit of urgency, but the passing game suits us more. |

Seems we have arranged a final friendly against Hibs at Easter Road. Sunday, July 27th at 2pm. £10 adults and £5 concessions. |

A late Brian Graham counter meant United finished their tour of Holland with a 2-1 defeat against Utrecht. And made him the only player to score in all of our pre-season games (barring the 0-0 versus Athlone). Hopefully Bilate's signing will spur him on. |

Of course. My bad. Plus the hibs game - which I can't attend because of a five year old's birthday party.... Grrr.... (fully excpect another two Graham goals. At least!) |

We beat Breda 2-1 after falling behind. Graham and Bilate late on. |

Graham certainly seems to be banging in the goals. Which is good, he'll be many people's 3rd choice for the 1 striker position, so hopefully he can keep the form going. |

Seem to remember a certain Shifty scoring his 1st goal in friendly last summer. Also it was Super Mario that setup the goal for Goolden Graham. Promising. |
