To rest. Would like more of Wilson in midfield, but so long as our key players are fit for the final I'm not bothered about this game.

And as I currently type this from a lounger next to a pool, I really am not giving this game much thought at all.

I think we need to rest players also, maybe with the exception of the defence.

Maybe.

Rado

Watson Dillon Gunning Robertson

Wilson Gomis

Dow Gauld Graham

El Alagui

Hopefully Gunning gets injured.

That team looks reasonable.

Gunning or Souttar vs May?

I'd go gunning. Souttar will be pushed around too much and dragged about, which is not what we need.

Gunning may make a mistake or kick a ball boy, but I'd say odds are lower than Souttar getting caught out and costing a goal.

Our sympathies, Zeek. Let's take a moment ....

Is that long enough? Maybe a bit more.

So.

Ginger Goalie
Watson Dillon Souttar Wilson
Gauld Dow Gomis Fraser (or Connolly; not fussed having seen neither).
Farid Graham

The idea there is to pick a team that'll benefit from getting a game, rather than a team that'll get a result. Because if we're going to lose -- and on statistics alone we're nearly guaranteed to lose -- it may as well be a useful defeat rather than a potentially demoralising one.

Good argument but does Jacko want to reveal too much about who he thinks are the key players. Also, can his Celtic Park aspirations bear putting out what he considers to be a weakened side?

Cierzniak, Wilson, Watson, Gunning, Dillon, Paton, Rankin, Gomis, Dow, Gauld, El Alagui is the starting line up.

0-0 half time.

Hopefully can see if out the second, and sneak something.

Would be good for the players to leave there feeling confident for their return.

Thought the B-Team played some nice stuff, with Gomis, hearteningly, looking back to himself.
GMS looked knackered not long after he came on but did well to force the o.g.
Strangest penalty award I've ever seen, with Samaras simply kicking Gunning out of the way before Rado's abberation.
Armstrong looked hungry when he came on and injected real urgency into things, after a period of not-very-incisive posession play.
All in all, a decent workout for the main event next weekend.

On 2 notes, I wasnt at the game today because of illness, but from what Ive seen and heard we played quite well. The result is not totally unexpected, given that Cesspit are miles ahead of anyone else. MOTM for me was Twazzle who scored for us.

Zico sorry to hear about your father. Do you mind if I ask how old he is?
