Isn't the transfer window a restriction of trade?
Yup. That's illegal too. But I believe the EU allows the transfer window as it's (somewhat arbitrarily) viewed as a rule of the game rather than an enforceable law.

After last night's performance, Robertson's almost certain to be subject of a bid or two.
Hopefully, a few interested parties can make it worthwhile to sell now.
And they're amenable to loaning him back for the season...

Buabs and Gomis a good shout for the Hearts midfield, if rather unimaginative. Waiting on an Eastern Europe goalkeeper arriving to be awesome. And a large number 9.

Wonder if Levein still has Andis Shala's number.

Also, Hearts would surely be a decent place for a player to two from us to go on loan next year, given Levein knows us well and our youth setup?

I suspect if we're bringing in any #9 it could be Kris Boyd. Not sure how I'd feel about that, but given that MacNamara was sniffing around him last year and he hasn't signed a new deal at Killie, it seems plausible. We're one of the few clubs in the top half who'd want him. (and I'm assuming Rangers won't be signing anyone in the near future).

Sadly, he'd probably do a good job for us too. The twat.

Fuck him and his stupid, snarling baw heid.

I'd rather stick with Graham.

In some ways, it's what we need. Someone who'll score goals, experience and fairly consistent. When the going gets tough, we're battling against a team we can't break down, and a half chance comes our way, I'd rather have Boyd on the end than Graham.

Then again, I've never been his biggest fan, so wouldn't be sad if he went elsewhere.

There are various mentions around the interweb (source: The Metro) that we are about to sign/have signed the forward Blair Spittal from our feeder club Queen's Park. Various teams, including ourselves, have reportedly been interested in him for some months.

I've a feeling I wouldn't mind us signing c unt Kris Boyd this year. As long as we sign two modern day Andy Websters/Lee Wilkies/Darren Dods, that would be fine.

Kris Boyd really is fat. Or Kris Boyd is really fat. And he's still a prick. But having one of your "big" players gain the amount of weight that he is must be pretty concerning. They should get shot of him, he's clearly the wrong kind of hungry.

Kris Boyd to sign for Killie. Hope that doesn't affect our chances of a top 6 place. He's scored loads versus us, including two 5s. And he is a complete and utter arsehole.

Penalty to United, and we don't need to look at Kris Boyd doing his horrible "taunting" pus.

Not having him back after seeing him [Steven Thompson] celebrate when he used to score for Rangers many years ago. He used to go f***ing mental ala Kris Boyd, kissing the badge and pulling that psychotic, sneering face while running and shaking his fists around to stir up the crowd. Totally disgraceful behaviour.

Also ...

If you put all this aside at the first sniff of a goal, I'll lose all the respect I have for you shower of twats.

I think you'll find I've been consistently unreasonable in my overreaction to Kris cunting Boyd, regardless of the situation.

Nobody has respect for me, I don't care.

Ok, maybe you have a point. I will temper my position a little : I'm in favour of signing Kris Boyd if both Ian Huntley and Iain Watkins are unable to secure enough home leave to make training at St. Andrews on regular basis.

The Sun says we've bid £100,000 for Danny Wilson at Hearts, but it's been turned down.

Would rather we kept the crumbs in the biscuit tin. That way lies danger.
