I see rangers got another narrow away victory in their game, with Daly coming off with hamstring issue, which may be minor.

Ticket sales seem to be going well, about 11,000 sold.
Would really like Daly to be out.

Apparently the ref is Madden.

Which seems no better or worse than the other likely candidates.

Seems like he's a chance to be fit for Sunday's cup final, so would assume he'll be fit for the semi. Black the same.

I think Daly's obviously a goal threat, but we know his weaknesses. I think I'd rather Daly play than someone a bit more mobile and energetic and unknown. Can see Gunning nullifying his ability in the air from open play, and evenWilson could out pace him.

Also, he's not one for closing down defenders, so that might help up to pass the ball about a bit more freely in our midfield and defence.

I note with interest that - despite the abuse and whinging from Rangers fans that 10,000 'glory hunting Dundee HIVs' would deny some of their season ticket holders a seat at the semi final - following the priority period for said season ticket holders a public sale of tickets begins on Monday. Mostly for the Govan and Main Stands, but some for the Copland. I imagine that they will sell out, but I'd chuckle if they didn't.

Daly and Black both start in the other cup game, so assume they'll be also starting next week.

Well, short of injuries of sending offs today of course. Shouldn't matter anyway.

Watching the game United should gub them if they keep the pace high...quick free kicks and throws and they aren't able to cope. Run at those defenders and they'll not have a clue where our nippy guys are. Seems like a good game for Gauld to me...

Oh my.
Congratulations to the Rovers.
They'll be dancing in the streets... etc.

You know in Mortal Kombat when your opponent's energy bar has hit zero and they stand dazed while the words "FINISH HIM!" flash across the screen? That's how I picture Ally McCoist right now.

Rangers were pretty woeful, but then again, Raith did not play very well a lot of the times. Slightly surprised how slow the game was, other than Aird, rangers never stepped it up really.

But Moshni should have scored once, maybe twice, and much of their attacking threats came from set pieces. Good chance they'll score next week against us from set piece.

Otherwise, I agree, we need to set off a pace they can't handle and not stop until we're about 3 clear.

I wouldn't ease up at all. If we have them beaten, I want them beaten as badly as possible. No showboating. Goals. Brutal, thudding goals.

Come now, we don't want McCoist to get sacked or anything.

Surely we want him taking the equivalent of combined wages of GMS, Armstrong, Guald, Robertson, Ciftci, Rankin and Paton out of a team struggling for cash each week.

While also spending the same amount on McCulloch.

He's got a contract to pay up. Plus shares. And who knows what else. Sacking him could be highly entertaining and revealing.

About 75% of the posts on our friends at Rangers Media are calling for him to be sacked. They seem angrier than usual.

Which is understandable, it was a very flat and directionless performance without any real signs of tactics or game plan in what should be a important game for them.

Erk. Too soon.

Let's hope they show loyalty, and McOist doesn't do walking away, until after next weekend.

I want Ibrox to be three quarters empty by the final whistle, save for Arabs singing Ally's praises and a rump of indignant loonies hurling hatred towards him.
