I also wonder have we reached the point yet where we are hated by opppsition fans for getting too much good press. I heard a Jambo on the Terrace Podcast talking about how excited he was at getting to see us in the flesh.

The thing that makes it enjoyable is knowing that we could veryquickly find ourselves in a three game slump as quickly as we suddenly ended up on this joy ride.

It will happen, the kids will get tired through inevitable over playing, we'll pick up a knock to a key player and lose a game we should have won.

I do wonder whether it will be this weekend. I mean who wants to go to Kilmarnock at any time, let alone when your 17 and the whole world wants you to play for them instead?

Ah, yes, our resident expert in the arts, finance, spread betting, football (etc.) has added geology to his admirable list. Colour me surprised.
Yeah, I'm f*cking brilliant. That's uncontestable. But where's the evidence?
I would have thought the evidence was there for all to see over the past couple of years in this forum...one might call it anecdotal though without a trawl through the archives.
Ha!

Seriously, can we concentrate on the issue here?

I don't have time for all this buffoonery and horseplay. I'm a busy man. That should be self evident.

This cannot last.

So what is going to bring it crashing to an end?
I knew you've been waiting for this form to come to an end, almost willing it, with your daft predictions in the match threads where you say the opposition are going to win ''5 nil. Maybe 10''. Every week you say this and get made to eat humble pie at 4.45pm. You must stop doing it. It's absurd.

Well Hibs did sort of start 2009/2010 in a volcanic fashion but their season petered out into one of those lava rivers with no discernable plug. I remember John Hughes going on about how they used prostats etc. and it all sounded very scientific and then their wheels came off unspectacularly from January on.

IF Dundee Law were to erupt there would probably be log periodic tremors beforehand, detectable by means of piezoelectric sensors or such like. So no need to worry.

I am enjoying it, and I'm not worrying about it Cob.

Just thinking ahead. On the off chance that the club read the board, you never know, it might be helpful to them.

And at least some of us can say "Told You So" when it eventually goes clunk.
Oh dear...one of the cup's permanently half empty brigade.

Whit? This sounds like Yogi bear watched Moneyball and tried to make out he incorporated Oakland Athletics baseball team's stat geek/manager Billy Beane stat algorithms into the Easter Road philosophy. Don't be fooled, little one. While Yogi bear may have tried to make out he was a Billy Big Baws Prostat geek and this was his recipe for his (short lived) success, the homo sapien was actually using a far less civilised method to generate results. He was telling his boys to go out there and roll their sleeves up, have a right good go and then win the football match.

Looks like armstrong's contract will run until 2016 also now, says United Site.

Which is positive.

Excellent news. We're never going to be able to tie such promising players to 4-5 year contracts any more, but it looks like we're doing everything we can to insulate the club from losing anyone on a free anytime soon, while keeping the player happy at the same time.

Well, we do have Butcher sitting in the stands, as well as another young 'un out on loan. Smith, I believe.

Good news about Armstrong. He too will have been catching the eye of visiting scouts recently with his performances

Early to be looking forward to the Aberdeen New Year match, but things might be going a little wrong for them defensively - a few injuries to contend with over the festive season.

Don't click that link if you're squeamish. In fact, if you don't revel in open-wound gore, avoid.
