I don't like this bit: "The chairman has made a bold financial decision." :piper:

EDIT: Ah, fcuk it...

I suspect the chairman has looked at the lack of shifting of season tickets and decided he has to speculate to accumulate.

Sure enough, this will boost the ticket numbers by a good few hundred I'd reckon.

It should be good for the club too: if he didn't have the link here we'd be impressed anyway with a Scottish internationalist coming, even if only til Christmas.

No offence but the return.of the willie is not necessarily a good thing. For one thing how much trouble did he cause here?? This is an insane waste of money.

Do you know how much money it is? If not, how can you judge whether it is insane or not?

What do we gain by it? Apart from someone trying to recapture old glory?

We get someone trying to recapture old glory! :banjmp:

Had a feeling the deal would go through in the end, and wouldn't be massively surprised to see it extended for the full year either.

Will be interesting to see if Jackie will predominantly play a 4-4-2 now....

Seems very flimsy grounds for declaring it insane, given the complete lack of facts involved, and of any other ports in this storm (barring Kris Boyd).

Will be intersting. A 442 with Goodwillie, Graham, GMS, Armstrong and Erskine all playing - we'll either score a lot, or hardly any...

150k apparently. Which works out at GBP5769.23 per week by my calculations. Which is about double what my scroogelike mind thought we'd be paying.

Fcuk me. Wallets out, chaps!

If true, then that's about a third of his salary at Blackburn we're picking up. A right old gamble (panic) that ... 3x the top earners at the club.

Or did you read it on Mad or Eastfootball?

Nice juxtaposition of headline and picture there.

Och. We paid £150k for Stephen Carson. This looks a more interesting gamble than that.

Can think that the money could have been better spent. Loans are just a way to develop other clubs talent and sell it on. Teust me guys this is a bad move all round.
