It was nice of Spence to provide some free advertising for the two available footballing gentlemen in question, and especially useful to the agent of said gents whose job it is to get them new contracts.

The idea that Ibrox media channels is the best place to get accurate information about the club is laughable.

Derby it is. Four year deal. Not sure what the fcuk all the Celtic talk was about.

No word on how much we got or any add-ons.

In other news Hibs are apparently after McManus too... though there's chatter of us being after Berra. Both would be excellent signings, but I'd be surprised if either sign on.

Yeh, good luck Johnny and well done on not signing for one of the Infirm.

Hopefully like Conway you can forge a decent career in the Championship and we'll see you in a Scotland shirt soon.

Hearts: Jamie MacDonald and Ryan Stevenson take wage cuts

Goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald and midfielder Ryan Stevenson have agreed to wage cuts as Hearts' administrators announced further cuts.
MacDonald, 27, joined Hearts as a youth, spending two seasons on loan at Queen of the South.
Stevenson has had two spells at Hearts, leaving in 2012 after a dispute over wages, but returning later that year.
The administrators had already announced that 14 members of staff would be made redundant on Thursday.
Hearts manager Gary Locke spoke of his sadness at the job cuts at a media conference on Friday and confirmed that Liverpool defender Danny Wilson would not remain at Tynecastle.
He said: "To see so many people lose their jobs yesterday was heartbreaking. My thoughts are with these great people.
"The transfer embargo means we can't sign Danny Wilson when his loan expires at end of the month and that is a blow. Club survival is key.
"Every penny that comes in goes towards the running of the football club. We need to stand shoulder to shoulder."
Any takers?

Maybe not, but unlike Hearts in recent years we might pay him wages that arrive on time and honour the bonuses in his contract....

And what has the Hearts situation got to do with Johnny Russell?

I hate it when threads veer off at a tangent.

Mods, do your job and keep everyone in line, banning the persistent offenders, or I will have to find somewhere else to do whatever it is that I do on here. And that's a promise.

You will not hear from me again until you confirm you will do exactly as I say.

I wish the so-far month of 8pm to 3/4am roadworks outside my flat would f*cking stop sometime short of me buying a sniper rifle.
