You'd think since twitter has decided the culprit, motive and opportunity, the police would have acted by now.

Curiously timed news item from the BBC. Saying nothing more.

I'm more interested in the silence regarding Dave King's move for Rangers.
No-one is asking if he's a 'fit and proper person'.
A man who's a convicted tax cheat on another continent, and was a director on both the Murray and Whyte watches on this continent.
What's the SFA, and the media saying?

Silence from... well, just about everyone...

At a risk of diverting from the separate Sevco thread, SFA cannot make any determination until they have a formal proposal.

THEN they can wave it through......it does avoid Armageddon , after all. :conf:

Quote:

Is it Paton and Erskine or Paton and Wilson? Wilson and Erskine don't strike me as the sort...

The Sun story reads:

Quote:

The pair have been caught up in the fall-out from an incident which saw Celtic keeper Lukasz Zaluska hospitalised after an assault in Glasgow’s west end.

Wilson, a former Celtic team-mate of Zaluska, was out in the early hours of Monday morning, even though he was due to play in the club’s Development League match that night.

The full-back, returning from foot surgery, featured in the 6-3 win over Hearts.

But he will be asked to explain why he was out on the town so soon before a match. And Paton, named SPFL Player of the Month for September, is likely to be asked to account for his whereabouts on the evening in question.

United’s first team were given the day off on Monday, so the Northern Ireland star wasn’t due in for training that morning.

The Tannadice club said in a statement: “Dundee United has commenced an internal investigation into the conduct of two of its players following information received by the club."

Boss Jackie McNamara will now have to decide whether either player will be involved against Caley Thistle this weekend.

Wilson, who was pictured at the scene of Zaluska’s assault, released a statement through his agent.

It read: “Mark was out for a meal with his wife and some other couples.

“On his way home with his wife they came across his friend and former team-mate Lukasz Zaluska.

“Mark tried to calm a matter down and latterly to help Lukasz as he was in a distressed situation."

So Wilson's suspected only of breaking curfew, which is bad because he's 14 years old. Paton is suspected to have lamped Zaluska. That leaves a third man, apparently not of United.

Anyone care to guess his Imriedentity?

I'd advise an end to such speculation, being that there are contempt of court laws, and our lawyers are even worse than the Record's in that theirs actually exist.

EF have a special members-only board where this is no doubt being discussed in great detail, should you need more.

Has someone been charged? If not, speculation is only in contempt of human decency.

Indeed, you wouldnae see this kind of thing happening up the gentrified confines of the Perth Road. :ermm:

Pretty sure a more recent Manager insisted on that as well, was it Levein??

I think it was Chis.

Instructing players where to live is a practice that has thankfully fallen out of fashion, even at Tannadice. They're humans with families, friends, favourite pubs to frequent.

So how come you're not coming out and stating clearly what you think happened and who was involved, rather than enigmatically quoting newspaper reports subjected to the talents of their legal teams?
