I guess the big question for Ukio Bankas is whether they'll get more money from a CVA or from selling Tynecastle for flats...

Seems like deal could nearly be done for Hearts. Hopefully give them a chance to sort themselves out for the start of next season.

That's good. Hopefully they can build up a strong, sustainable club from the mess Vladimir left behind.

Imagine if the play-off team from this league go down too.
A championship containing The Rangers, Hearts, Raith Rovers, Hamilton/Falkirk and one of Killie, St Mirren, Hibs etc would be some scrap!

Great news for Hearts. Bad news for Ally McCoist.

Levein in as Director of Football at Hearts, and a few changes already. It's almost like he's been planning it.

Locke out, MacDonald, Stevenson Jamie Hamill also out.

United legend Roobie Neilson in as head coach.

First time in years, maybe since Levein resigned, that it looks like someone in charge at Hearts knows what they're doing.

Superb appointments by the Jambos, especially with Levein as DoF rather than 1st coach or manager. Him on the strategy and Neilson on day to day management sounds like a winner to me.

Was our bald ex-manager asking for too much money, so CL went for Neilson instead?

This is another bad day for Super Salary. If Hibs go down too and then sort themselves out, it could be a very enjoyable season in the second tier.

Hadn't really thought of that Hamish, but now that you mention it - next season in Scottish Tier 2 could be highly entertaining with Levein & Neilson up against the Ibrox crew.

Can anyone name a Hearts "legend" who hasn't had a pop at their hot seat?

edit: come off it Adam, how can "hot seat" possibly be one word?

Well, Justin Fashanu had a pop at a few sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry ...

That's pretty much the management setup I'd have picked for United back in the PreMac days. We'd be well advised not to finish 11th next season.
