Wee bit of a tiff developing between Cameron and Clegg as the Tories go back on their word re plans to reform the House of Lords (No surprises there, what with their in-built majority)

With the Tory lass doing a runner yesterday it'll be an interesting By-election in the not too distant future.

corby is a marginal so Tories will have to write that off to experience and serves them right for foisting a central office candidate that only fancied working for two years.

One would like to think its some kind of clever plan to trick Millipede into thinking he's invincible in a kinnock kind of way but it looks more like a complete break down in party organisation. Hopefully it should be irrelevant by the time it all breaks down totally by 2015.

It was always more of a clegg, cameron love in (and probably Beaker, Osbourne ) the rank and file of both parties have never had much love for it. If it comes to a tiff The old soak Charlie Kennedy will lead the lib dem revolt while that freaky Redwood guy exposes the tories to be the little englanders they really are.

Meanwhile Alex Salmond rejoices.

He is.

President of the society for putting things on top of other things. He took over that position from John Cleese.
