Did anyone catch this pile of horseshit on Channel 4 this week? Forgetting Jane Moore's irritating bleating voice, the way she says "uh" instead of "eh" as in "chok'luht", the way she says "man-uh-facturer" instead of "man-u-facturer" and that twat from her labelling team's haircut - what a terrible documentary. It basically consisted of her showing disbelief that a product with 1 portion of fruit/veg could still be labelled as such if it had other stuff in it. It then culminated in her devising a cookie with 1/2 of a portion of fruit, and showing it to people awaiting their horror that such a thing could contain a quantity of fruit, after designing her own poor and misleading label as a representation for the rest of the industry. She then drew a conclusion to a vague answer given by the government to the problem she had made up. Fuck you Jane. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/4od/ |
