Been quite a competitive Formula 1 so far this year.
6 different winners so far. Webber won the Monaco grand prix.

Monaco has to be the most boring weekend of the season. The only people who rave about it being the best, are the ones who go. It's more about being there than the race itself.

True dat.

It's the one race I can't be arsed with. If all those drivers didn't live there dodging their taxes and actually had to travel there I doubt they would be so keen on such a tedious procession.

To make matters worse the coverage consists of the presenters telling you how great it is to be there while being utterly incapable of describing why it's so f*cking great.

Credit to Webber today for saying he wasn't that keen on it due to the hullabaloo that surrounds it.

Yeah not a lot happened in this race, the other so far this season have been good. I am looking forward to the Austin race, the track layout looks good, of course only time will tell if it produces a good race or not.

I find myself a bit torn on the tyres, on one hand there is a skill in being able to make them last, but on the other you want to see them go at it 100% for the whole race.

True, the lack of overtaking seemed to be partly down to everyone trying to preserve their tyres - it wasn't clear that was happening until Perez put on new tyres and just put the boot down for a few laps and was 2 seconds faster than everyone else.

It still comes down to that stupid Monaco track though, where overtaking is extremely difficult so the motivation is to keep track position by not making pit stops.
