The situation sucks, we could put in our best performance in years, narrowly lose to a late goal to one of the best International teams for years and still go out if the Czechs scrape a draw. Or we could get pumped 8-0 in a night of shame for Scottish football and a dodgy bobble over Cech's foot in the last minute could see us going through anyway. As has been said, all talk of the Czechs deserving to go through is pretty far off the mark. We gave Spain a much better game at Hampden than they did on Friday night and as Conan rightly said the break they got in the game against us at Hampden was a massive stroke of luck for them. If we can nick an early goal and McGregor plays the game of his life, you never know we could even scrape a draw. But the strong likelihood is that we'll need Lithuania to beat the Czechs, <strawclutching>surely the ties Scottish football have got with Hearts can count for something???</strawclutching>
