The Czechs are pretty crap, but I'd expect them to get the point they need.

For all of the chat about it being "out of our hands", the likelihood of a defeat to the Spanish removes that.

I'm not overly optimistic about the Czechs losing (which is what we need, really), but it's not close to out of the question. They're not very good, are they?

It certainly is our best hope. In our wildest dreams we may snatch an improbable draw, and we're still relying on Lithuania doing something decent. We have to hope the Czechs freeze. It's going to be an odd night. We'll be watching Scotland and realistically the game will almost certainly mean very little...BBC should be televising the game that will matter to us in Lithuania. But that would be bizarre in itself while Scotland are playing. I'm sure they'll keep us up to date but if the Lithuania -Czech game is on Eurosport or something I'll be watching that instead. And occasionally flicking back to admire Spain's football I guess.
