Tightass: n Slang (chiefly U.S.) an inhibited or excessively self-controlled person OK, so maybe my hyphen was not required. Link provided to avoid the horrors of the results Google returns. Without the hyphen, but as two separate words, well that's a whole different thing which Eggs seemed to go straight towards. Which was perhaps the beginning of his mistakes.
