Luckily there are plenty of rubbish teams in the SPL, as that might save us. Two points off the bottom after ten games ain't good, and away to Aberdeen next.....uh-oh. Sure, virtually everyone is pish of slightly differing degrees, but no-one is as abjectly pish as a Hamilton or a Gretna that the rest of us are safe.

From what I have been told about Dunfermline's recent performances, I wouldn't be too sure. Although it's hard to shake the feeling we need a couple of wins, and soon. I think because Aberdeen and Hibs have started the season badly, no-one had noticed how rubbish we are. Now those two teams are showing (some) signs of improvement, all of a sudden we look in a bit of bother.

Yesterday was awful but no worse than most of our performances against Motherwell in recent seasons and actually better than many. We might, depressingly, struggle to make the top six in an awful league but we won't be in any danger of being relegated.

Too often we were second to every ball. motherwell worked really hard to close us down while we stood and watched and allowed them build up moves. As someone further up said it hauntingly like the pre levien days. I'm not sure why that should be. There really looks like something is wrong in the Tannadice dressing room these days. Too many players with they're minds elsewhere?
