Yeah it's a 3G pitch, my mate books it out for our friendlies now. It's steep for a game but worth it!

They're counting down the way. When they get to 1G they'll have to cut with a lawnmower and pick out clover and shit.

Whit the... how can that be, what does it look like? 3G is the latest stuff I've heard of! Soft and slightly springy, blades of synth-grass with lots of tiny little black rubber bits padding it? And enough to take a free sockful home?

Powerleague do say it's 5G, although there is no such thing.

The same as East End used to be. Where I knackered my knee and ended a promising career being played out of position on the left rather than as centre-forward where my timing and finishing ability were my strenghs. I coulda been a contender.

Apparently Watson's not playing due to the pitch. With Dillon out, that could be interesting at the back. I'm sure Flood played they before, and could be good in having attacking options form the back, and free up space in midfield to try out someone else.

Well, uh, accordun tae, uh, Derek Ferguson, uh, it's a, um, really good, uh, 4g pitch.
Apparently.

And yes, Skelly, the Porty Pitz are those black rubber-pellet covered pitches.
I don't really like it, to be honest. It seems a little sticky to me. You always seem to be waiting on the ball, especially through balls.

Not sure matters much. As long as get forward well, Dixon in swinging crosses could be good.

Like the pitch even less up close.
