Solid if unspectacular performance today: it looked like a team for most of the game, if a bit patchy here and there, and they certainly worked hard. Flood back like his old self, with energy and some skill (though he is, of course, no Fran Sandaza ;) ), excellent at the back from the two centres and good handling throughout from Pernis. LDV looked very good, taking his goal excellently and appearing sharp, and Swanson - though fading in and out a bit - looked the best man on the park.

Keep that going and we'll be back nearer the top before too long. Well worth the more or less half admission price (though one might point out that the relatively disappointing 6500 or so who were were points to the fact that reducing prices may not bring in more punters... *)

(*yes, I'm making a late bid for biggest troll in this post).

Good performance, but still not solid enough to be comforable. ICT weren't that good, as expected, solid, a few creative players, plenty crosses and chances, but we were about the same with a bit more quality.

Good to see Della Valle get a goal, good finish in the box, where he needs to be. Didn't have much luck elsewhere, but to his credit worked hard and held the ball up as best as he could.

Dow did ok, solid performance, few good glimpses of his danger. Like Allan, Armstrong, seems to be an option that's good enough to play if we need him no problem.

Swason again made a difference, and with Rankin winning so many balls, Flood being attacking on the ball in the middle, and Robertson a mix of both. Didn't like the midfield start of season, now it's our main strengh. Think regardless of the striking options, we need to keep midfield 5.

Full backs were pretty poor, lots of mistakes and sloppyness, but Kenneth and particually Gunning did well.

Pernis was solid, few good saves.

Ref was good, didn't get involved and called most things well.

Worst impression of the day has to be Marsh-Brown's bizaree attempts are being a football player. From not being aware of the ball, to running into player after player, to deciding not to bother challenging / looking a ball in the air. Unless there's some reason, I think that MackayStevens would be expecting to play ahead of him next time.

Overall, good.
