What has been a sloppy start to the season could turn into a bit of a disaster on Saturday if we don't beat the struggling Snechies.

They seemed to dominate Hearts and create a load of chances against them, so i think they're on the up in terms of form.

I'll be dissapointed if I don't see the workrate shown vs rangers. They'll be quite compact and organised, so we'll need a bit of spark. Swanon will be important, and we need someone else to step up.

What's a 'Snechie'? Sounds like something that young rapscallions would get up to behind the bike sheds.

Our season will take off against the Sneckits in glorious fashion, we due to give someone a going over. 3-0 United - Leyland Daf Daliai Lama Vans to break his duck, a Rankin scorcher, and a Swanny divedrive.

Score draw, likely 2-2.

Lauri Dalla Valle to continue to run around like a pantomime villain.

We'd do well to get a point from this game, meaning we'll probably win.
3-1 in all likelihood. Swanson, LDV and Kenneth. Tade consolation for them.

Can't see either team scoring.

So 5-5, probably. Certainly.

It's a pickle when our whole season seems to hinge on a home game in September against ICT. That may seem like overreaction, but THAT'S HOW I FEEL.

I think I'm on the blob.

United to trail out in just socks and boots holding each other's penises, forming a circle for Ring a Ring o' Roses before donning large Billy Dodds style shirts and tearing into Caley like real men should.

9-0 United, and not a f*cking WORD about the pre-match display outside of the ground.

They already did that against St Johnstone in 1992. We lost.

Look it up.

Jon Daly makes a surprise return to the squad, despite, according to Housty, not being 100% fit. Hmmm, a less than 100% fit Jon Daly. That should be an interesting challenge to detect.

From the BBC preview, the main thought I had was isn't Terry Butcher great.

Mo Mo Super Mo, Butcher, Heggie, Psycho - quite a scary backline that.

I'm looking forward to seeing Daly back in the team, and I get the strangest feeling that Allan will get game time.

As much as I like Daly, I'll be dissapointed if he's not fully fit, yet starts. I can see it happening though easily.

Same here. I think Dow showed enough in the last game to be considered. I suppose we have to take into account Big Jon is the captain.
