We've played well. Progressive, inventive, sharp, quick to the ball. Defence has been brittle at times, but on the whole a good performance.

After 15 minutes I was asking myself, "What is Flood supposed to be doing in this team?". By the end of the half He was looking a lot more like his old self, running things in the middle for us. Which leads me to the question, what is Scott Robertson supposed to be doing in this team? Kenneth has mostly taken very good care of their threat, and Watson, Rankin and Swanson have been impressive also, Dixon not far behind for his defensive work. Dalai Lama Vans needs to fight more against their centre backs, he's getting pushed around.

Craig Brewster Posts: 461 Group: Members Member #49 Joined: June 26, 2011	my thoughts at half time, first up the ref has been absolutely spot on with all his decisions. swansons was a dive, kenneth and davis deserved their bookings and jonny russell has let everyone down by getting himself sent off. everyone knows putting your head in, whether to hurt or not gets you a red card and he had to go. and broadfoot deserved his yellow. which is a shame because united were for me easily the better team. this is one of the worst rangers teams i've seen and they were there for the taking. I still think a good result isnt beyond us. playing reasonably well. we still want to cross the ball far too early despite having no target in the box. lets get danny swanson on the ball and make runs off him. he easily looks like the man to unlock their defence. that said its probably gonna be a backs to the wall effort. gunning is the pick of my defenders so far, whilst floods hard pressing and work rate is brilliant to have back. i hope jonny russell gets a

Actually, you could trap him in an airtight ziplock bag then watch him suffocate but, just before his final breath, open the bag and allow him to revive just enough to be aware of when you closed the bag again. Then you could repeat the process for 48 hours. That might be more satisfying, providing you also pissed in the bag. Eta: it was into Lafferty, right? I just assumed. Swanson did absolutely brilliantly selling the move to the defender who proceeded to clearly foul Swanson, a whole thigh, knee and shin's worth of contact. Stupid move from the defender who, by the way, looked very sheepish that the penalty wasn't given. Grarr!
