it looked like it was going that way, he won the 4th 6-0 and went 4-0 up in the decider. but then some of the shots haase made on route to levelling at 4-4 were nothing short of breathtaking, and if he'd held serve there was every chance of him going through.

anyway back to the football. we've got barry barry barry barry bannan on the wing, on the wing :hit:
Looks like he's on his way to another easy win if the rain can stay off again.....

Which one of the top 3 is due to beat, sorry, meet him in the semis again?

Nadal, and I reckon Murray will bet him. There's something weird going on with Nadal.

Either Federer or Djokovic will beat him in the final though. Would be nice if he could take a set for a change...

I think he'll beat Nadal too.

Could be a great chance for Murray to win a major - although he might have to play a match per day, he's probably the most able of the top 4 to handle it.

I don't think Fed, Nad or Djok are at their best right now, and this is Murray's best surface.

im normally very optimistic regarding murrays chances, but i wasn't impressed with him today despite him easing through. young was rubbish!

the good news is that he got through in less than 2 hours, so wont be disadvantaged as much by the punishing schedule (less so than anyone else in the bottom half).

murrays 2nd serve and his forehand are glaring weaknesses for me, and he will need to play a helluva lot better to stand a chance. he'll have to beat nadal and either fed or djoko, a very big ask.

almost ashamed of myself for sounding so pessimistic, but thats my gut feeling based on the tennis i've watched him play.

did you hear the one about roddick, the sticky tape and the hoover? :hit:

Might as well, likes.
