Does houston have a rape dungoen too?

But midfielder with pace could be interesting. Hopefully gives us more options to play better formation.

Apparently we've signed a fullback from fulhaml on loan. Given we've Dixon, Douglas, Watson, dillon, I guess something might be happening...
Keanu Marsh-Brown. Quick, apparently, as you'd expect of one of them blacks.

So who's going to be first to say "feeder club"? I am, it appears. Perhaps we could get a loan of that shite statue of Michael Jackson outside Craven Cottage.

ETA. Quoth the baldy Alf Stewart impressionist:

He is a midfielder who can also do us a turn in defence if required.

EATA. Actually, am I far too late to this? Only just realised ...

This new chap was described on Sportsound as a two-footed full-back, which is what we need much more than another midfielder. We've got plenty of guys who can play in midfield* (Rankin, Flood, Allan, Armstrong, Douglas, Mackay-Steven, Robertson, Swanson). Another full back gives cover for full back both sides (natch), centre half (Dillon moving inside), left midfield/wing (Douglas moving forward) and even centre midfield (Gunning moving forward).

Having said that, and knowing what an awful corporate prostitute United have become, we'll probably sell one or both of Dixon and Douglas tomorrow because I can't see United applying a sticking plaster to the squad without first cutting off a limb.

* Relatively speaking. Obviously we're short of bodies everywhere, just least in midfield.

I don't want to go out on a limb here but the new guy has indeed been described as two-footed.
Two left feet and a heid like a fifty pence piece.
Dinny listen to Jim Spence though, gie the guy a chance to shine, get intae the groove.
Unbelievable amount of shiftin about in the squad, thankfully Utd are blessed with awesome coaches who can gel a team together quickly due to bonding together during training.
FS, this is Utd we're talkin aboot here. Winners.

Quickly bonding gel? Are you reading those words off the tube you're sniffing?

Ivan, irritatingly, is right. Leftfield player acquisitions are never good news. Someone's gonna get pimped tomorrow. Dixon, most likely, on the basis that he can become a bench ornament in exchange for 250k down. And then Celtic will then sell Samaras for £3m. It's all awfully, awfully unfair.

If steve bruce pays 3m for samaras then he is definetly going to be the first epl manager sacked this season.

How do shite like Bruce manage to keep themselves in a job? He's spent about £100 million in the last few years. For what?

This double-barrel pseudonym thing makes for tiring thinking, can we just call him Marsh-Brown? Or, hahahahahahaha, Neo?

Dixon still not gone and the window barely a crack ajar, I reckon we're down to 150k/200k territory now given he can sign a pre-contract in a few months anyhow.

An unusually good thread on the DUFC market research site on this subject.

As someone pointed out on t'other forum one thing that is in our favour is that Celtic need cover now for Izaquirre so no real benefit to them waiting it out and signing him for free next summer?

If he does go (and the Courier did point out there's not been any contact with the club from Celtic), what's the thinking on replacements, is Douglas good enough defensively to play Left Back? Or will the new lad Knees up Mother-Brown or someone like Dillon take over permanently instead?

Seems, according to Sky, that some Moroccan left back is joining Celtic on loan until January, so Dixon stays put.

Good.

So, we've lost no-one and gained two exciting, although admittedly young and on-loan, attacking players.

Cool.
