The Scottish Football Association has asked its Brazilian counterpart to apologise for Neymar accusing Scotland fans of racism.

Was their any need for this childish posturing? Embarrassing behavior.

It was widely reported that the "racist Scots" claim was nonsense, in the UK at least, so I don't really see the point of demanding an apology from a 19-year-old who got the wrong end of the stick. This certainly shouldn't be done in public.

"Fair, good humored and respectful", the fans are, apparently.

Not so fair as to constantly bitch about decisions in Italy's hampden win in 2007. Or not so respectful when booing other countries' respective national anthems.

They should let it go. Like the Irish FA should've stopped their carping after Henry's handball.

Scozia. Honest, gov. I was as anti-I-tie as the rest of you (for the 90 minutes only, of course).
