Triple f*ck. Is 3rd place (as unlikely as that seems) the only chance of a European place now? |

Did anyone really want successive Hampden Scottish cup final days in the sun anyway? A victory for common sense. |

Scotland only has one champs league spot this season so Rangers winning the SPL and Celtic winning the cup would mean 4th place gets a europa league spot. |

Fvck - I was sadly unable to wank us to victory tonight. Some stupid law about public decency/indecency or whatever. Ah well, season over. Motherwell better f*cking win it now. |

For whatever reason, I made the trip across last night and we were as shite as ever at Fir Park. Motherwell had a better shape, passed the ball better, closed down better and defended better. The gripes: we played a too defensive team (David Robertson essentially in place of a second centre forward). It showed. Motherwell took the initiative. We didn't start playing until we were two - nil down. Clear handball from Jamie Murphy before the first goal. Keith Watson's 'defending'. Conway and Goodwillie virtually anonymous. Swanson involved but unable to create anything. Andis Shala. The positives: Scott Robertson was good. Russell likewise when he finally came on. |

Seems to be a recurring issue this season. 5 in midfield can be nice and attacking, but we don't seem to play like that, even with an attacking midfielder or three around. Although maybe just missed Gomis. |

Bit of a disaster really. The gate was open to a lucrative semi and final appearance, and we just walked on by. Watch performances slump now that a) lots of players are leaving and there's nothing much to play for this season b) there is even less money available to retain players or improve contracts as a result of exiting the cup c) it's raining |

Absolutely. Forget about snatching third or about fourth getting Europe. We'll struggle to hold onto fifth I reckon. The summer starts here. |

Steady on. We were poor last night but the team's not fundamentally broken. |

What are the players going to be motivated for now? We've had patchy application anyway, what with a recent trend of dire first half performances and going behind before pulling ourselves together. With top 6 assured and no cup to play for, what are they playing for? If Housty gets us playing decently over the rest of the season he will have done very well. |

Do any of them have moves lined up? There's been no pre contracts signed as far as has been announced. Some of them might need to play well to get a move to a decent club, as they've been linked with in the past as some of their current / recent form is not of the level that likely sparked a lot of interest in them this time last year. |
