I'll say to Arab League users the same thing I've said on other forums today, now please go easy on me:-

I'm not in a position at this present time to divulge anything other than what was posted on arabtrust.co.uk last night.

ArabTRUST's Chairman will be in touch with Dundee United to discuss the ramifications of the Board meeting last night and we'll then be taking it from there.

In the meantime, it would be inappropriate to comment further until United have had a chance to comment should they choose to.

C.B.

Which sounds fair enough to me.

An atmosphere of hysteria, unsubstantiated rumour, innuendo and lying may be par for the United Forums, but there's no rush on this. I'm happy to see it run it's course without screaming out demands to be told every last nuance of what is going on.

Yeah, that's fair enough.

I heard that Barile had been sending animal porn to Thompson's club email address (rather than his personal account, as instructed).

For shame.

Hello Chris. You should know that, while we're rather less noisy than those on the other boards, we're rather more pedantic.

To that end:

"Divilge" means to make known something that's private or secret. But, as I understood it, Arabtrust is a co-operative society and last night's meeting was a public event. Therefore, what was said isn't, in any sense, secret. Worth bearing in mind, no?

"Ramification." Hm. That means in context to create complicating subdivisions. Therefore: it's a schism. The group that represents supporters has become ramified with the club. That, surely, would be a fundamental change to the co-operative's ability to represent its members interests. And, it being a co-operative, it would only be fair to communicate that fundamental change in a timely manner to the members. Otherwise, it begins to look like a pygmy dictatorship.

So you're giving United a right to reply to whatever you're not be telling us. That's nice. Is there a deadline?

Naebody made a typo. Naebody made a typo.

That's you got a score for the Smirky's Law league table.

In the context of only one meaning of the word. Nice selective interpretation there, Naebs.

Ramification:
1. A development or consequence growing out of and sometimes complicating a problem, plan, or statement: the ramifications of a court decision.
2.
a. The act or process of branching out or dividing into branches.
b. A subordinate part extending from a main body; a branch.
c. An arrangement of branches or branching parts.
